Where to start… I am so overwhelmed by the journey I have been on with this company, that to say my life has been changed forever almost sounds cheesy. What I have learned is this: I now know that I am capable of anything I put my mind to; and the clarity I have for my future makes life very exciting. The trauma your body goes through having a baby is huge and it really can mess with your confidence. I had heard enough horror stories to be worried that I would never get my body or confidence back. When I enrolled in my first YOR Best Body Challenge, my baby girl was 3 months old. Having just had a baby I didn't expect that I would see a huge change as I've always been told that it can take over 12 months to get your "pre-baby body" back. To deliver our baby safely, I had an emergency Caesarean, which involves a surgical incision cutting through my lower abdominal muscles – so when I joined the challenge I was just starting to walk properly, but definitely was not able to train hard.

When I started the challenge I had almost returned to my pre-baby weight – but my body looked totally different. I wasn’t expecting much of a change in the numbers as I have consistently been around the same weight for 11 years. I thought my body shape would change more than my weight - I was hoping I might lose the muffin top I had, but never dreamed of the body I created. I was able to not only lose the excess, but I got abs!!! My little girl was only 5 months old! I couldn’t believe it – and neither could my friends. I lost 7 kilograms (15 pounds) in 8 weeks and to top it off, I was awarded with first place for my results. The photos were my favorite part of finishing the challenge and were what really inspired me to help others on the challenge. I know how great I felt when looking at the old and new versions of myself, and I wanted to share that feeling with the world.

I use all of the products regularly. I love the YOR Probiotics, Digest Ultra and Fiber Plus as they are doing wonders to keep my tummy flat and making me feel lighter. The entire product set definitely boosted my energy, allowing me to train while adjusting to life as a mum – and not looking tired, even when I had been up 4 times in one night!

It was important to me that my challenge results were achievable for the average person – so I have deliberately not trained more than 1 hour per day, no more than 3 times in one week for any of my challenges to date. I have also not lived by any sort of extreme diet program – ever. I just try to eat reasonably clean and take my best body set. For the most part, I train at home using only dumbbells and an abs machine. I feel that this is achievable for anyone out there (mums included) and is a realistic approach to what is possible with a little commitment to your goals. I love the 8-Week Challenge, as it really isn't a long time to stick to a plan and with the amazing products and community support, people are surprising themselves every day! I am now into my fourth 8-Week challenge and I am genuinely so excited about my physical transformation, but the life lessons and personal growth I have experienced in the past 12 months have been phenomenal. I cannot wait to see what my body can do in the future and I am no longer daunted by the idea of having more kids as I know YOR Health will be there to help me get my body back next time too.

I am a strong believer that your kids should not be your excuse for why you can’t, but be your reason why you can and absolutely must. I want to be the best role model for our daughter - a healthy, happy, energetic and inspired Mum. The YOR Best Body Challenge has played a bigger part in that than I ever imagined, and I know that participating in the Best Body Championship will only bring greater things into our future. This whole journey has seen me push myself to be my best self, not just for me, but because my little girl deserves nothing less.

Now my mission is to support other mums to start their journey in health, wealth and self-awareness. Too often do women feel like they need to have accomplished an entire career before they have a family, but I am challenging the status quo and am feeling greater satisfaction for life since starting a family and joining the challenge than ever before! I have made a complete change in my lifestyle - from working 60+ hours to being comfortable building my own business part time.

I am in the best shape of my life, spending time with my family, learning more about healthy living, learning from some of the most inspirational people on the planet, and loving every day!

This company has changed the vision of what I want for my life and provided me with the ultimate vehicle to be certain that I can make a positive impact on the world. Sharing happiness has become my life’s purpose and I cannot thank YOR Health enough for that.
