This 8 week challenge represented a commitment from me. My whole life, I have always been active. I love sports and would play a sport every season. Basketball, Football, Baseball, Track, Cross Country...sometimes I would be doing two at a time. Even in off season, I would be playing sports with friends and family. Due to that, I was always in shape (and I was under 20, so my metabolism was kicking and could eat whatever I want). I was never someone who was muscular, cut up, had abs, or anything like that. But I was fit.

Then the real world jumped in and my health and fitness started to fade. I continued eating the same junk I ate as a kid and thought my body would react the same way.....it did not. I also tried to stay active but could not find the energy or time to make sure I went to the gym or played sports. I no longer had games, practices, and coaches to keep me accountable. I no longer had friends across the street that I could go outside and "play" with. So when I got home from work, I was faced with decisions every day. Do I go to the gym? No, I had a stressful day, I need to relax. Do I eat something healthy? No, I will tomorrow, today I really want a pizza. And that added up through time.

Occasionally, I would get inspired to change and say "Today is the day I am going to make it happen!" And I would start on a workout plan, start eating habits and be excited that my health would change. But...after a few weeks, a missed workout would slip in...a missed meal would come around....ice cream would be bought...and before I knew it, I was back where I started. Fortunately for me, I had enough moments of brief inspiration so I did not allow myself to be completely let go, yet I was frustrated that I was not a the level I wanted to be because I was never committed.

But then came the 8 week challenge! A carrot for me to run to. A motivator to stay focused for more than a couple of weeks. My goal in this challenge was to get abs. I have never had abs before, I actually believed it was not possible for me but I do believe it now. I did not get my abs in this challenge because I still had my moments of weakness...missed workouts....ice cream...pizza....ice cream :) But, because of the challenge, I was able to pick myself back up and get focused again. Now I am on a path to a healthier happier me and I know that when I submit myself to my next challenge, abs are going to be the results and I cannot wait to see those results come through.

Thank you YOR Health and the 8 Week Challenge!

Please be advised that the testimonials contained on this website and any other publication or printed materials reflect only the experiences of the customer who has provided the testimonial. The above individual’s results may not be typical. As of October 2025, those who completed 8 weeks in the weight loss category of YOR Best Body lost an average of 13.86 lb (6.29 kg), or 1.73 lb (0.78 kg) per week. When replacing 2 out of 5 mini-meals per day with a meal replacement shake, the average person should expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week. As with any reduced-calorie diet, the amount of weight you'll lose will depend on the number of calories you consume in proportion to your weight. Optimal results are achieved when following the product regimen in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.

Individual results may vary. Factors that may affect your results include (but are not limited to) your metabolism, exercise routine, diet, smoking, pregnancy, current medications and any medical conditions. As with any health or fitness program, regular exercise and a sensible eating plan are essential to achieve long-term weight loss results. No customer was paid for a testimonial.
