My goal in this 8-Week Challenge was lean up my midsection and increase muscle mass in my chest, shoulders, arms, and legs. My starting weight was 159 pounds. My ending weight was 164 pounds which was just shy of my goal weight of 165 pounds. Overall I am happy with my results.
My YOR Health regime consisted of Repair Ultra, Probiotics Ultra, Essential Vitamin, Digest Ultra, CompleteBurn, MRP, Fiber, and SuperGreens.
I started each morning by taking two Repair Ultra capsules, one Probiotics Ultra capsule, and one CompleteBurn capsule with a glass of water. After showering and getting dressed I would have a meal replacement shake consisting of MRP, Fiber, and SuperGreens.
I took two Essential Vitamins and one Digest Ultra capsule during lunch and dinner. Some days I took a second CompleteBurn prior to working out.
My goal was to workout everyday which included weight training and 35 minutes of cardio. Some weeks because of my busy work schedule I was unable to complete a workout, but for the most part I was consistent.
I followed a strict pescatarian and gluten-free diet. I ate fish, egg whites, fruits, vegetables, nuts (mainly almonds, cashews, and peanut butter), brown rice, brown rice bread, brown rice pasta, millet, flaxseed, olive oil, and tofu. I drank water, soy milk, almond milk, coffee, and tea. I avoided fried foods and foods with high sugar content.
I kept track of my diet with the MyFitnessPal app on my iPhone. The Challenge was great because it made me think twice before eating something unhealthy and it also made me more aware of my caloric intake. Although I have always exercised consistently, it made me less likely to skip a workout because I knew everyday counted.
This was my first 8-Week Challenge and I am excited to participate in the next one to continually improve my health and level of fitness.
