When I started this challenge I weighed 131 and now I weigh 125. though 6 pounds is not a ton of weight, I can totally notice it in the inches I've lost around my waist. For this challenge, I took Digest, Super Greens, and the MRP shakes. I took all of these regularly: MRP shakes for breakfast every morning, Digest before every meal, and Super Greens with every vanilla MRP shake I made. Even when I was going to be away from home, I'd bring my shakes and Super Greens in little ziploc bags so that I would never skip a shake. My favorite was taking the shake after the gym, which I would do about 3-5 times a week for about an hour. It definitely gave me the boost I needed for the day ahead!
I am so grateful for the 8 week challenge because I had always had a defeatist attitude about my weight. This challenge has made me get over my excuses for not losing weight and going out and doing it. Before this challenge, I used to say, "I hate running." Now I say, "running is challenging--and I like a challenge!" I have made it a regular routine to not only go to the gym, but when I am at the gym, to go hard and push myself. Nothing feels better than one of those killer workouts, where you're out of breath and your abs are the sorest they've ever been. I have started to finally feel proud of my body and I am way closer to my dream body than I was 8 weeks ago.
