Hi my name is Faron Rodriguez, I am 24 years old from San Diego California. Before the challenge I was deployed over seas with the US Navy. While being deployed it is nearly impossible to eat healthy, your fed food loaded with preservatives, fat and anything else that allows food to last for long periods of time. Gym time is another issue, with working 12 hours plus a day most of your off time is devoted mainly to resting up for the next day. With that being said 8 months later I returned home weighing 185 pounds and in not so good of shape, thinking this isn't me its time to get back to where I need to be and thats where the challenge came in. My buddy who is a promotor for Yor Health told me about the 8 week challenge and I thought this is perfect not only for a chance to win prizes but its a competitive way in getting myself back into shape. So there I was at a challenge party thinking where do I sign up? Long story short I signed up ordered my Scult set and I was off. My everyday route consisted of Having a MRP with Fiber Plus, Supergreens and Berry Blast mixed with milk every morning along with Probiotics, Repair and Digest Ultra on my way into work. After every meal throughout the day I was taking Digest Ultra. I would workout after work for around 1.5 hours starting off with cardio and ending with some weight training. On Saturdays I switched up my route so I didn't get bored with just working out in the gym all of the time so on Saturdays I did a number of things from crossfit to hiking and I even did a Tough Mudder. Sundays where my off days to rebuild and recoup to get at it again on Monday. I started at 185 pounds and within a couple weeks I had dropped down to 165 pounds which was my original goal weight, so having reached that rather quick I adjusted my goal to allow me to pack on 5 pounds of mass which led to my final weight of 170 pounds. The challenge motivated me to push myself and continue to challenge myself pushing my limits and never giving up the fight.
