My Story....
14 weeks ago today i gave birth to my second child after an intense 3 day induced labor that ended in an emergency c-section. this was both the happiest and saddest day of my life! i have never been admitted into a hospital for anything other than the births of my children and what i was about to face with catheders , drips, blood transfusions and to top it off i had a little boy laying next to me that was completely dependent on my health and ability to look after him.i didnt get out of bed for 36hrs and when i finally did it took my partner and midwife to carry me most of the way to be washed by the nurses, it was then i thought i would never walk again! i was in hospital for 5 days and was told no driving or exercise for 6 weeks! this nearly killed me and i was more determined than ever to get moving so i started walking laps of the hospital, if i had my way i would of home and back walking a day after a natural birth. Twelve days passed and i decided it was time to get on with it and i started walking around the block,i did this for a few weeks and 6 weeks after birth i decided it was time to amp it up so i started my 8week challenge.As i was still raw i have only been walking 5kms daily and am yet to get to the gym this is my next step!I am also breast feeding my growing little boy so i have only taken the supergreens 4 times a week,once a day!my start weight was 71kgs and i have finished my challenge at 60kgs.I am not here to win i just hope this inspires mums to get out there and get healthy no matter the circumstances and despite the sleep deprivation because it will pay off !
