It is a beautiful thing when you wake up to the notion that you as a human are in control of your life’s path a whole lot more than you have allowed yourself to believe.
Hello, my name is Ana Pontes. Ever since I can remember, I have been conscious of my unhealthy weight. As a small child, I remember hearing from my grandmother that a “healthy” baby is a chubby baby. However, I still couldn't help the feeling that something was not right about the fact that I was the “chubby baby.” I didn't feel healthy and I certainly never felt completely comfortable. I found myself at a loss for energy and motivation growing up and often opted to sit out of certain activities that might draw attention to my significantly less than perfect physical performance and appearance. By doing so, I was able to coast through life along the sidelines in a way that wouldn't draw too much attention to the issue I was so desperately trying to ignore.
However, poor health is not something that can be ignored for long. At the age of 14, I began to experience severe, debilitating migraines. Doctors could not figure out what was wrong with me and none of the tests and medications they gave me ever came up with any results. After running out of any other concrete possibilities, my doctor diagnosed me with Chronic Daily Headache and Chronic Migraine Syndrome and basically told me that I would just have to deal with the constant pain until it went away (if it ever did). Eventually I came to the realization that the reason for my pain was every short and simple. I was not healthy and my body was suffering as a result.
Immediately, I began to research ways to better my eating habits and enrolled at a gym in an attempt to bring balance back to my body. However, no matter what I did, I still did not feel like I was doing the best for my body. It was not until I enrolled in the YORHealth 8-week Challenge and began to take the products that I realized what was missing. My digestion was poor so my body was still nutrient-deficient even when I was eating fruits and veggies. With the product line, I was able to kick-start my body’s metabolism after almost two decades of poor maintenance and abuse. I am overwhelmingly motivated by not only my progress so far, but also by the possibilities YORHealth has introduced into my life’s physical, emotional and financial future.
I began this Challenge at 155lbs/70.3kg with the intention to lose 10lbs/4.5kg. However, through a clean diet and daily exercise along with the YORHealth revolutionary product line, I am very proud to say that I am ending this challenge at 139lbs/63kgs!!!! With the support of the YORHealth community and the great products, I was able to lose 16lbs/7.25kgs in 8 weeks. I cannot wait to see how my body continues to progress as I enroll in another challenge and incorporate the products into a lifetime of health and success!
