The impact the challenge has had on my life is beyond words. One of the most, if not the most valuable lesson I ever learned through this company was that, if you have a goal.... thats great.. but if you know WHY you want to accomplish that goal, thats what separates the goal SETTERS from the goal GETTERS.

Once enrolled into the challenge, I did my research. What exercises will allow me to build strength fast. What foods will allow me to get leaner quicker, without completely having to eliminate the foods I crave. I am a recovering carb-o-holic, so the challenge gave me purpose to give up that addiction. Which in turn, allowed these past 8 weeks to be full of wisdom and learning. And thats what life is about. Its exciting learning new things.

But giving up those cravings is tough when you don't have a REASON to give up the cravings. The challenge GAVE me those reasons.

Especially on those days when you dont FEEL like going to workout, when you just want to order that fried ice cream, covered in butterscotch and graham cracker crust. I would look at my bracelet, I would remember my deadline, and it made it easy to say NO to dessert. For me, thats a miracle. And it truly makes me feel blessed. Because its not JUST about the after picture. Its the fact that all that processed sugar is BAD FOR ME!!!! And I did my body a favor by saying NO!. I added time to my life. I built will power! I gave my body a chance!

Thats priceless and for that I will keep entering the challenge. Because I want to do good for my body and be an example to those struggling with there personal body and health issues.
