I started my challenge at 150 lbs. and in just 8 weeks I lost 8 lbs! Now I am 142 lbs. and I’m so excited!!

Throughout my life, I’ve always been interested in health and I always tried to eat healthy. About 8 years ago, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis is a disease where my immune system eats away at the layer that covers the nerves in my body. It causes constant pain, fatigue, and a lot of other things too. When I was diagnosed, I didn’t understand what was happening to my body, and my biggest question was, why is this happening to me? I started to get tired so much faster than ever before, I would sleep anywhere from 12-16 hours every day, and I couldn’t spend time with my family like I used to. This caused me to go into a major depression because my whole life had changed with the blink of an eye, and I had no control over it.

After a few years of trying different medications, we found one that helped, but it was an injection. I was never good with needles, but now I had to start jabbing myself with needles 3 times a week. The good thing, is it slowed down the progression of my Multiple Sclerosis, but it also had a lot of negative effects on my body as well. The biggest side effect was on my digestion. I could only use the bathroom once every 7-9 days. It was a horrible experience, and it caused me so much pain.
