Deciding to take YOR Health has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. When I signed up for the challenge I had just given birth my baby girl 5 months earlier. Prior to falling pregnant I had dislocated both my knees and ever since then I have been unable to do any impact sports or intense exercise, therefore I am limited to simple gentle walking. I had been trying to lose the baby weight for the 2 months prior to signing up. I was going walking 4 days a week and trying to eat super healthy also. I was still so tired and exhausted that I decided to give YOR Health supplements a go to see if they could help me.
I decided to take the GO GREEN Pack as the concept really appealed to me. At the beginning of the challenge I was a little nervous as I realised it was going to be over the Christmas and New Year holiday. Going on past years I have generally put on at least 3-5 kgs over any Christmas break. So you can imagine my concern as I was about to undertake a health kick so to speak at this hazardous time.
Within 2 weeks of taking the supplements I noticed a difference in my energy levels. After 3 weeks I noticed my hair had stopped falling out as intensely as it had since having my baby girl. I then weighed myself and to my surprise I had in fact lost quite a bit of weight. The next hurdle coming my way was Christmas as well as all the lunches and parties you end up attending at this time of the year. Not to mention my mum is one of the most amazing cooks I know and my family was coming down to spend Christmas with us as it was Alice’s first Christmas.
I decided to give myself a pass, and yes although I was doing a challenge it is very rare that I see my family so I decided I was going to enjoy spending time with my loved ones (this obviously included eating copious amounts of delicious Christmas ham and rum balls). To my surprise I never really got that bloated feeling I would normally get whenever I ate a big meal. The big moment came after my family had returned home where I stepped onto the scales again. I was immediately shocked, I hadn’t put on any weight...none at all! My mind was having a lot of trouble fathoming the fact that yes I ate rum balls, lots of Christmas ham, croissants, champagne and chocolate over the entire week and a half and some how my body had stayed the same.
Once New Year came around I was back into the swing of things again. Santa even bought me a new pair of walking shoes, although they did initially give me blisters (nothing a few band aids couldn’t fix). I am now in my final week and so unbelievably excited about how great I am feeling. I am back into my pre-baby jeans and looking to continue my weight loss journey until I reach my ultimate goal of 55kg, and with YOR Health I know I will definitely achieve it!
