The YOR Best Body 8-week challenge is more than a health and fitness challenge. It has got me to challenge every single aspect of my life. I have been overweight my entire life. I have yo-yoed between the same ten pounds (between 220-230 lbs) for the past 5 years. But in just 8 short weeks, I have lost 19 pounds; more than I ever did in 5 years of trying. That in itself is a victory. I took all my products, ate clean, thought about what I was eating, and really focused on more of the reason WHY we need to eat healthy. I want to share a post that I wrote recently, just weeks before I reached out to someone who I had no idea would be the gateway to saving my life.

"October 18, 2013: I feel like I will never win this battle. To anyone on here who has not really seen or spoken to me, or find it hard to make plans with me I am sorry. I constantly pray and hope to get help through this, but it always comes right back to this. Sometimes I feel like I live a double life. For those of you who just have your "bad days" and can have a clear, positive outlook on life as oppose to every day being a 'bad day' and occasionally feeling good, be grateful. When will I feel better? Depression is no joke. Feeling hopeless."

Not ONCE have I felt like this since I started the 8-week challenge on December 3, 2013. Don’t get me wrong, I had my defeating days, but I never once felt hopeless. When you want to change, you need to change what you’re doing and how you’re acting; do what fears you the most, do the unknown. Going to the gym, working out with people, socializing with people, meeting new people, opening up, eating fried food every day, not caring about my health, not caring how I was affecting everyone else around me; were all things I was scared of facing. But I did/stopped doing all those things because it was necessary. I needed to change before it was too late. Change is necessary to live the life you know you deserve. You just have to take that one leap of faith. And sometimes, all it takes is one person in your life, someone you may not even know, to help you take that leap. I am so glad that I had someone help me take that leap. You can’t face it alone. The support system at YOR Health is like no other. They push you to the limit. They see how far you’re willing to go to reach your goals. And it’s all out of love; for love, for health and for happiness. I can’t wait to achieve my goals and be able to help someone take that leap. Thank you so much Lawrence Kretikos and Jimmy Tran for never giving up on me. You guys were the gateway to saving my life.

*The testimonials contained on this website and any other publication or printed materials are provided by customers who have used at least one YOR Health product. Please be advised that the testimonials contained on this website and any other publication or printed materials reflect only the experiences of the customer who has provided the testimonial. YOR Health does not make any claim that such experiences are typical or are indicative of future performance or success of using one of their products.

The above individual’s results may not be typical. As of October 2025, those who completed 8 weeks in the weight loss category of YOR Best Body lost an average of 13.86 lb (6.29 kg), or 1.73 lb (0.78 kg) per week. When replacing 2 out of 5 mini-meals per day with a meal replacement shake, the average person should expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week. As with any reduced-calorie diet, the amount of weight you'll lose will depend on the number of calories you consume in proportion to your weight. Optimal results are achieved when following the product regimen in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.

Individual results may vary. Factors that may affect your results include (but are not limited to) your metabolism, exercise routine, diet, smoking, pregnancy, current medications and any medical conditions. As with any health or fitness program, regular exercise and a sensible eating plan are essential to achieve long-term weight loss results. No customer was paid for a testimonial.
