Participating in the 8 week challenge was hands down one of the best decisions I have made in my adult life. Sometime in the last 5 years, I went from being a Division One Collegiate Athlete in the best shape of my life, to being overweight and unhappy with the way I looked. I assumed I would always consider myself an athlete, but was at a point where I no longer could. After watching a few of my High School friends join the challenge I finally decided it was time to stop making excuses and jump on board, it was just the decision I needed to make.
Although the first few weeks were beyond challenging as I was battling a chronic sinus problem and on multiple medications the second I was healthy I saw the weight begin to fall off. The challenge reminded me of how strong my will was to not give up and to follow through with a commitment.
I used the slim set and complete burn to get the best results I could, making sure that I was consistent with taking them every day. I had the YOR MRP shake every morning making it easy to get through the first half of my day and using the complete burn before my workouts to get the best results possible.
This journey of losing 20 pounds has truly been a life changing experience. I am well on my way to getting back into the best shape of my life, I have rekindled some amazing high school friendships, and even gotten back in the pool to swim with my college coach and fellow alumni weekly. This is just the beginning of a long journey to improve my daily and life and the life of those around me.
