In the past few years I've been pretty erratic with my eating and exercise. I'll have stages of high stress (like uni exams) or lots of celebrating (such as overseas holidays or the festive period), where I put on a few too many kgs, and then I go into an intense diet and exercise regime until I lose it. And so the cycle goes. So when I started on the YOR health challenge, I was firmly in the latter stage. Gym every day, eating no carbs, sugar or alcohol, pretty much just protein and fruit & veg. And I felt pretty good for the first few weeks. But about 3 weeks in, I started feeling sick; fatigue, stomach cramps, bloating and general discomfort. And through multiple doctors appointments, blood tests, ultrasounds and x-rays trying to figure out whether I was gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, fructose intolerance etc, I started cutting more and more out of my diet, and not getting any better.
In the final week or so of my challenge, in frustration I loosened the reigns and tried not to worry about the category or caloric number of foods, but just focus on clean eating, reintroducing carbs and dairy. And, wouldn't you know it, turns out I suddenly felt so much better. So my challenge has taught me something incredibly important; BALANCE. And in this last week I managed to accomplish something else amazing. I ran my first marathon. Which is amazing considering at the start of the challenge I was only running about 5km! I still have a way to go for my ideal body, but feel confident that with my new health motto of balance it will be a lot easier to achieve and (mostly importantly) MAINTAIN!

Please be advised that the testimonials contained on this website and any other publication or printed materials reflect only the experiences of the customer who has provided the testimonial. YOR Health does not make any claim that such experiences are typical or are indicative of future performance or success of using one of their products.

The above individual’s results may not be typical. As of October 2025, those who completed 8 weeks in the weight loss category of YOR Best Body lost an average of 13.86 lb (6.29 kg), or 1.73 lb (0.78 kg) per week. When replacing 2 out of 5 mini-meals per day with a meal replacement shake, the average person should expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week. As with any reduced-calorie diet, the amount of weight you'll lose will depend on the number of calories you consume in proportion to your weight. Optimal results are achieved when following the product regimen in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.

Individual results may vary. Factors that may affect your results include (but are not limited to) your metabolism, exercise routine, diet, smoking, pregnancy, current medications and any medical conditions. As with any health or fitness program, regular exercise and a sensible eating plan are essential to achieve long-term weight loss results. No customer was paid for a testimonial.
