I am turning 40 this year...eek!!! I ‘should’ look amazing by 40 right?? I just have to!! Way to go Kate; put lots of pressure on yourself again by setting some crazy goals and ideals about how you ‘should’ be, how you ‘should’ look etc etc!! And there is that dirty word ‘should’ again!! Urgh!!
This is typical of how I have set goals and my focus in the past, it has all too often been more on setting physical goals about how I look, what number I want to see on the scales etc by a certain date, if I lose weight I will be happier etc etc, and not so much of a focus on better health and wellbeing. Don’t get me wrong it’s great to have goals in life but those type of goals always seem to be a bit scary and daunting and so restrictive. So this year I decided I was going to start working towards something different; instead of a definitive purely physical goal, I decided this time to aim to apply more a systematic approach to health and wellbeing, to develop good habits that would become a lifestyle instead of something I would ‘endure’ for a period of time and then revert back to old habits once I got bored or if I didn’t see immediate results. This 8 week challenge with YOR Health has been the perfect way to kick-start these new systems and habits for life!
What have I done? I’ve worked towards a clean well balanced diet, a great exercise regime with a really motivated trainer and group of fun and motivated souls, a smattering of yoga, swimming and beach walks, (I had 1 to 2 rest days per week from exercise), and of course YOR Health products - SuperGreens which I take every day (despite being told they look like something Shrek would drink), and Ultra Digest taken with meals every day - these products give me the extra boost in energy and digestive power to make this journey so much easier.
So with regards to my results - I’m not even phased by the fact that I have not reached my goal weight set as part of this challenge, as in 8 weeks I have lost lots of centimetres – including 4.5cm off my waist, 5cm off my chest, 3cm off each bicep and 6cm off each thigh!!! I feel good and it almost feels like sweet justice to be losing some weight and centimetres through a system and not just a crazy regime to simply reach a goal!
AND in the interests of honesty, you should know that I am a realist and a big believer that life is for living – so yes, during this 8 week challenge I have celebrated a friend’s birthday with bubbles and cake, have been and seen one of my favourite bands with a beer in hand (or 2), and have been taken out to eat divine rich French food at a fancy pants restaurant. These have all been the exception not the rule; I’ve always returned to my systems and habits including the YOR Health products.
I’m excited that my system and the YOR Health products are working, and am thankful for meeting some great people who are on a similar journey who have made this so much more fun and easier, including my gorgeous YOR Health rep! AND last but certainly not least, I am looking forward to continuing to feel great when I turn 40 in a few months time!

The above individual’s results may not be typical. As of October 2025, those who completed 8 weeks in the weight loss category of YOR Best Body lost an average of 13.86 lb (6.29 kg), or 1.73 lb (0.78 kg) per week. When replacing 2 out of 5 mini-meals per day with a meal replacement shake, the average person should expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week. As with any reduced-calorie diet, the amount of weight you'll lose will depend on the number of calories you consume in proportion to your weight. Optimal results are achieved when following the product regimen in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.
Individual results may vary. Factors that may affect your results include (but are not limited to) your metabolism, exercise routine, diet, smoking, pregnancy, current medications and any medical conditions. As with any health or fitness program, regular exercise and a sensible eating plan are essential to achieve long-term weight loss results. No customer was paid for a testimonial.
