Summary:
At the beginning of this challenge I stated my goal was:
- To maintain existing muscle,
- To build more muscle
- To achieve body fat loss for more definition
in a healthy way, by using both training and nutrition plans and YOR supplements to create a healthier and happier me and to hopefully inspire and motivate people along the way!
TICK, TICK, TICK = SUCCESS!!!
I have maintained and increased my muscle mass, plus lost body fat. I have maintained my weight, but my ability to lift heavier proves my increased muscle mass and the decrease in my body measurements prove my body fat loss :)
I did this by consistently following a structured training plan and nutrition plan, the added bonus is that I have inspired people along the way too! I have written ten nutrition plans for friends, I have two friends who now join me in the gym and I have started a nutrition blog called 'Abs Made in the Kitchen'.

My training:
1st week - nutrition plan onluy
2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th weeks - conditioning, weights 4 times/week and cardio 1 time/week
6th, 7th, 8th weeks - build, weights 4 times/week, no cardio
(Note: weight training = 60 mins a session, including warm up. Cardio = 30 mins steady state on Cross Trainer)
My Challenge:
I was travelling for 7 months before I started the challenge.
The challenge was the perfect start to my new training regime and to start preparing for my bikini model body sculpting competition in October.
I have hit the ground running, I'm back into my training and nutrition plans, lifting heavier than I have ever lifted before and steadily leaning out whilst maintaining a healthy and happy body. What more could you possibly ask for!
Even if I don't place in the Group 26 competition, I genuinely believe that I have already won one the best prize!
