8-WEEK CHALLENGE COMPLETED !!! WOOP WOOP . Hello Everyone ! Well ,Let me share a little about myself and my experience with the 8-week challenge .
My name is Karolina Garrido. I'm twenty-three years old and a part time student in a community college majoring in Nursing.I'm also a FULL TIME mom of a beautiful baby boy-Dante- and a housewife. I am a very outgoing and fun to be around person.I always like to be doing something I can't be sitting down for hours watching tv or doing nothing. I like to keep myself a little busy. Before I had my baby, I used to work in several places and go to school at the same time. My daily routine were to go to work, school, work out and hang out with my family and friends. I would always be going somewhere but everything changed after having my baby.
To begin with my birth plan wasn't as how I planned it.Since my due day was past due they decided to induce me because the doctors notice that my baby's heartbeat wasn't going as how they were expecting.I clearly remember that day as if it was yesterday. Monday, April 8th around 11am.I was running late for my usually check-up.When I got there they started to run the usual things as they did and thats how they notice that my baby's heartbeat wasn't well so they recommended for me to stay at the hospital and then they schedule the induction for that day at 6pm.I remember when the doctor told me and my boyfriend that it was time for us to get all the things ready and that we should go home and bring all the things that we might need for the baby. On our way home I remember talking to my boyfriend and telling him that I couldn't believe that this was happening. He notice that I was starting to get scare so he took me to a park that was near the hospital and we started to walk around there.I remember how nice the weather was it was starting to get warmer. I also remember not wanting to go back to the hospital because everything happen so fast and also because I was afraid.
After checking in to the labor department everything come out COMPLETELY different.I was hoping to give a natural birth without having a epidural or a c-section. But at the end my fear became reality. They had to induce me and the worse part was that I had a c-section. If you ask any woman most of them would say that having a c-section is one of the least things that they would like to do because it takes at least 6 months to recover. After having the c-section it took me a while to be fully recover, I was recommended to be in bed for few weeks and to not do any heavy lifting for few months. As the time passed by I started to gain a lot weight because I couldn't do anything due to the c-section .My plans after having my baby were to start working out within a few weeks but those few weeks became months! I also didn't wanted to spend money in bigger size clothing because I was expecting to go back to my normal weight. I remember feeling stressed, angry, and depress because every time when I wanted to go out I would always be changing my clothes again and again. There were times that I also rather not go out because I knew that it would take me forever to find something that I would feel comfortable wearing. I also remember feeling tired all the time and sleepy which was something that I really hated because I couldn't do most of my things at home.
As the time went by I remember one afternoon after putting my baby to sleep I sat down and started to look into my Facebook and saw lots of videos, pictures and comments about a 8-week challenge that a few of my friends posted. I remember seeing them working out and sometimes pictures of them drinking their shakes. When I saw that I had no doubt of trying it. I started to talk to them and find out more information about the 8-week challenge and then I GOT COMMITTED TO GET FIT . I couldn't let this opportunity pass by I knew about the products and saw the results that many of my friends and family members had and of course I had no doubt to get in the challenge. I just thought that this was a great opportunity for me to lose that baby weight and more than that to just be healthy and to be the person I was before.
Getting into the challenge was super easy and the products were very convenient for me to take and they were money saving too.I remember setting my goal, picking my set and then ENTERING TO WIN ! I was super excited because I couldn't Wait to take those AFTER pictures. The products that I took were MRP Vanilla , Super Greens (one of my favorites), Essential Vitamins, Repair Ultra and the probiotics. I really have to say that my favorites are the antioxidants because it has help me a lot in my skin, hair, and energy. I started to notice that I don't break out as much as I used to do and my hair feels so soft and I don't have split ends anymore. The MRP has help me to control my appetite because after having my baby I got used to eat late night. There were times when I didn't have time to eat and I would just drink a MRP and it would help me to not eat any junk food. The Repair ultra has also help me to ease my muscle soreness after working out in home and after those very effective workouts that our friend Christopher Poirier gives in our bootcamps .Finally a very powerful weapon ,the probiotics, this products has help me to regulate my bowel function and every time I took this product It felt great afterwards. (If you know what I mean ;] )
Although I didn't go to the gym and work out I'm very happy for my results.I definitely feel and see the difference before taking the products. Now I feel more energetic and happy to see that my clothe is starting to fit in.
