My name is Tomi- Marika Juarez, I grew up in Lubbock and now live in Dallas, Texas. I first met Yor Health from my good friend David Albanez at my college through a survey he was giving out. In October 2011, I was a freshman in college, very shy and very insecure. Unfortunately at the time I hadn’t taken the product serious at all, but I grew so many good friendships and met so many inspiring people. The best body challenge started last year and I didn’t enter any of them, but I’ve faithfully taken complete burn because that’s my happy pill.
In my life I’ve gone through quite a bit to only be 21 years old, and enough to make me unconfident. I have both of my parents genes my dad is very short and my mom is very plump. If I kept working out and eating as good as high school I’d be at the ideal weight that I am at now. My senior year I weighed about 110lbs, but it wasn’t a healthy 110. I was anemic, had horrible migraines, worked out about twice a day and hardly ate. I entered a relationship with a boy that literally drained life out of me, and left me sick. My parents were also on the urge of splitting up after about 24 years together. To some that might not seem like the worst situation every and even now I’ve seen worse, but at the time being 17 with no one to turn to it was hard. I don’t think my parents even noticed how sick I was, my mom always complained to me about eating but I don’t think she realized what was going on in my life. Praise the Lord my parents worked it out and of course I ended the relationship at the end of my school year. That summer I packed my things and moved to Dallas. Although I got out of that lifestyle and entered a new one I still wasn’t happy because by that time my freshman year started I gained about 20lbs. I was finally eating again, but no working out and it wasn’t healthy food either. Since My beginning with Yor Health I had a few moments where I would loose weight, and then stop taking product for 5 or 6 months. Its been nearly 3 years and my weight has gone up to the point where I got mad at myself for allowing to gain so much. I had a moment around January of this year and I was shopping, which I never do just because of time and money. I’m looking at sizes and grabbed a medium, large and extra large and went to the fitting room. Now sometimes clothes do run smaller but at this specific store I usually wore a medium/large, and the extra large hardly fitted. I put myself in this position and declared change.
I have resources, I have Yor Health, it’s not hard to work out, I never eat fast food, but it wasn’t until that moment that I really decided to change my life. Since the beginning of the challenge I’ve been taking complete burn and super greens only once a day. I work out if not 3 than 4 times a week at home or at the gym. My biggest struggle is always breakfast, it would have been better to have the shake but I wasn’t able to get it in this challenge but I did teach myself to get up early and eat which has helped so much through out my day. I of course through the challenge doubted and felt like really giving up as usual but thought well I’m halfway done might as well finish. It wasn’t until today April 26 that I took my after pictures that so much has changed. Unfortunately I didn’t loose the weight I wanted to but I’m more proud of myself that finished this challenge happy with the results. My goal for the next challenge is to take more of product and really get down to the weight I intend in the beginning.
Thank you so much Yor Health, and all the friends who have been on this journey with me.
