Wow!!! I cannot believe how thankful I am to have participated in the 8 Week Challenge! A little over a year ago I joined the 8 Week Challenge for the first time. I was at 134lbs. I managed to slim down and maintain a 21lb weight loss until I joined this recent challenge in March. I made it a goal to challenge myself to gain lean muscle and sculpt my body.
My starting weight was 113lbs. It is so funny to see that although i weighed less when I started the challenge, my physique has significantly changed! I was able to gain 5lbs of lean muscle and tone my arms and abs specifically.
I have a very busy, "on the go" lifestyle. I wake up as early as 6am some days and don't return home until about 9 or 10 at night. Convenience is definitely a big factor for me and I am so happy that I can take my products with me wherever I go without feeling like I am carrying too much. I start my day off with the YOR Shake with water and YOR Fiber Plus. Chocolate or Vanilla doesn't matter to me as i enjoy both! To keep me active and alert throughout my day I fuel up with a YOR Berry Blast right before arriving to work. I eat throughout the day, having about 6 small meals a day. I wash my lunch down with a refreshing serving of YOR Supergreens mixed with half water and half orange mango juice. After work I head out to the gym for my workouts and replenish my body with another YOR Shake (sometimes blending a yummy banana). I go home to shower and eat dinner and before bed I take my YOR Repair and Probiotics Ultra. The YOR Best Body Challenge app has helped me so much! It is helpful with setting reminders of when to take products, to check in and see how far along I am in my challenge and I also enjoy being able to vote for my friends with a quick touch on my screen!
I have found that working out and eating right are both fundamental to achieving my goal, however, I know that I wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of the YOR Health product line. The products provide key components for me to stay energized throughout the day, absorb proper nutrition and really help me to keep progressing with sculpting my body.
Again, I am so happy to have joined the challenge and see this progress. I set my goal to gain 7 pounds of lean muscle. It was a stretch for me since it was something I have never attempted. Although I didn't reach that goal exactly, I was able to gain 5lbs of lean muscle!!! I feel confident, accomplished and excited to keep pushing for more progress! I am so excited for the future, knowing that as long as I stick with the challenge and keep on going, I will be able to reach and achieve higher heights each time!
