I have had many health issues rise up in these past 8 weeks, that I had to make another important decision to be dedicated each and every day to my diet, exercise, and especially rest. Also, not to simply continue this challenge, but to continue afterwards. Although I didn't lose alot of weight, I definitely see transformations and can feel the difference internally!
Investing into your health... and Yor Health is more than worth it. I keep learning more and more how much health is wealth, and i really do feel 'rich' when I'm eating well, supplementing with Yor Health products, and surrounding myself with positive and life-speaking people. Life is short, and I intend to live well!
It's been three years since a crane lowered me into a swimming pool to learn how to walk again, while finding out I have hypothyroidism, and tendonitis in both arms.
I hope to let people know that a healthy lifestyle and being well is still attainable through hard times. And that we always have to choose to NOT feel sorry for ourselves.
Because of both ankles were crushed, I can't run at all, but it doesn't mean its an excuse to not exercise and feed my body what it needs. So I lifted weights about 3 days a week and did cardio intervals for 20-30 minutes 2-3 days on a bike or elliptical to be safer on my joints.
I love using all of yor health products every day while choosing my health is more that worth it. I could feel the days I forgot my Digest Ultra and told myself to never forget that again! They help my digestion so much more than I ever realized I needed.
As soon as I woke up, I chug a big glass of water with 1/4 fresh lemon for purification purposes, had time for devotion and meditation to begin the day, and made sure to have 4 protein muffins for breakfast using the vanilla MRP. I felt like I was having pastries every morning but it was healthy and even tasty!
About 30 minutes later on workout days, I'd begin my weights, cardio, or both, while drinking Muscle Energy to replenish my muscles.
Timing is everything, so within an hour after finishing my workout, I had a Digest Ultra and Yor Health Multi Vitamins with my post workout meal. That was usually a cup of white rice and 3-4 oz lean protein. If I didn't work out, I had sweet potatoes instead of white rice.
2-3 hours later a MRP with 2 scoops fiberplus and 1 scoop of supergreens. I learned I love the chocolate mrp plain, but love the vanilla for the protein muffins and for blending with the fiber and supergreens!
Any time I had cravings or tired during the day, which is normal part of hypothyroid, I would enjoy a Berry Blast, and then be sure to get in bed early to give my body the rest it needed.
2-3 hours later have more lean protein, leafy greens, and 1/2 cup fruit with my favorite Digest Ultra and Multi V.
And then I had another meal before I went to bed! Usually a lean protein like tuna or chicken and more vegetables.
This challenge also made me realize that I prefer to take the Probiotics at night instead of in the morning, and how much my body really needs the Digest Ultra to digest optimally. I've learned with hypothyroid, that metabolism runs slowly and digestion is difficult, so these products really help me to stay on track and feel better than I thought I could! It was also interesting to learn that I needed more calories than what I was allowing myself, so the past few days of the challenge, I added a few hundred more calories and can feel the difference.
Also that I did this challenge with a friend and was so fun to encourage each other through it and be amazed at her before and after pictures! I plan to have more friends do this with me in the future!
