2014 has been a roller coaster of a year, and we're barely half way! With plans to have an incredible 2014, I'd quit my job at the end of to embark on building my own business as a Health Professional and YOR Health Representative. A mere two days into the new year, my partner of 2 years arrived home from a two week vacation to break up with me. I was devastated!
Following this, breaking lease, moving house, and with a start up business, My health started to decline. I was bloated, my skin was terrible, hair limp, eyes dull and heart broken. Despite losing weight due to stress, none of my clothes fit over the bloated stomach I was sporting. My slumped posture showed the world I was not the billboard of health I strive to be. My workouts lacked enthusiasm, half heartedly going through the motions. Knowing I had to do something to keep me on track, I joined the 8 week challenge. At 50kg and 171cm, I was underweight and knew I had to do something about it. 8 weeks have flown by! Reeling from the speed in which time has passed, at least I made good use of 8 weeks to get my best body! My clothes fit, my eyes are bright and two weeks out from competition (INBA) I'm sitting on 13.8% body fat. I don't think I could have ever had the ability to reach this level of health without YOR health in such a short time period.
