I am 35 year’s old and completed Cycle 6 for the 8-Week Challenge, continuing my journey of living a healthy lifestyle and sharing happiness with others by helping them get healthier as well via fitness and YOR Health Nutrition. Regardless of my age, not only I was able to achieve the 6-pack abs but continuing to maintain them is definitely challenging. My before weight was 107 lbs (48.5 kg) and my final weight is 108 lbs (48.9 kg) – I use to be skinny with no toned muscle and having high metabolism, so I joined the 8-week challenge to gain weight in lean muscles. Completing six cycles consecutively has definitely transformed my body composition and resulted in looking more sculpted – toned up biceps, triceps & deltoid, leaner legs and 6 pack abs. Now, when I flex my arms or abs, I woo many of my friends and their face lightens up, mine too! Plus, I have been able to increase my endurance level by consuming the entire YOR Health product line, consistently working out and having clean-diet such as vegetables, protein and good carbohydrate.
My wake up call to make my health as my number one priority was right after I had a direct contact and accident with an SUV truck while I was crossing the road in September 2010. I could have died or gotten paralyzed but thank god that I was very fortunate to have survived this accident. However as a result of this accident, I started feeling pain spike in my left trapezius/socket area, plus I was working 10 hours desk job on the computer and phone simultaneously so this made my health, circulation and pain even worse. This started to affect my neck, shoulder, eyes and my legs from not moving around much for 5 days straight; I did not have time to eat snacks, had late lunch which was for only 30 minutes and I use to gulp down my lunch super fast due to hunger. Plus, my former boss was verbally abusive for almost a year, which drained me out mentally as well. I realized that all of this was affecting my health tremendously and I needed to make changes.
Throughout this cycle, I continued to take these YOR Health Products daily: MRP as my post-workout; YOR Muscle Energy as pre/during weight workout; 3 Vitamins in the morning and 3 in the evening; Supergreens in the morning; Digest Ultra with my meals; 2 Ultra Repair in the morning and 2 at night; 1 Probiotic at night and Berry Blast as when needed occasionally.
While on this challenge, I continued to workout atleast 4 times a week. Also, I was given an opportunity in this business to do what I love doing. I am still self-motivated as usual when it comes to going to the gym since it makes me feel healthier and have clear mind. I work on my arms, legs, abs; and run 4 miles in 36 minutes once a week. I am determined to prove to myself that I can achieve better health and still look good regardless of my age, weather and not having a car– still I had no excuses! I am excited to see better result even this time also as usual!
Thus, this challenge has had positive impact on my life because through the 8-week challenge, I was able to continue a habit of clean-eating, working out, staying on top of my YOR Product Regimen and having a great transformation of my body through six cycles of 8-week challenge.
