Hi, I'm Chris Ambarian, I'm 52 years of age, and I just finished my first 8-Week Challenge!
I have noticed that as I get older, it's like the whole universe is ganging up on me in a conspiracy to make me fat. I need every bit of help I can get in order to look ok and to not have to buy pants with a bigger waist.
In the last several years, I have been working too much, exercising too little, and enjoying a few too many calories. So my weight had gotten up over 180 lbs. By the time I started the Challenge, I had already started taking my YOR Health products consistently, and was down to 179 on Day 1.
In week 3 I started working with Damon Amen, our trainer, who really focused us on lowering our simple carbs and getting a little bit of exercise in at least. I did strength workouts once or twice a week, and did yoga 3-5 times per week.
I actually achieved my goal of 170 in week 5, and then got to 169 before leveling off for the last 3 weeks. So that's my ending weight.
I can't tell you how important it was to do this with my wife Suzy and our friends. It made the process fun, and we had a lot of laughs as we held each other accountable.
I'm definitely doing this again -- if a person can achieve results like this at my age in such a short time, I figure in another 8 weeks I can have my 6-pack back!
