When I enrolled in the YOR Best Body Challenge I was not expecting to see much of a change in my weight or body shape. Being a nutritionist I was very skeptical of the product range and whether they really worked the way others were claiming. So for me there was only one way to find out – to give it a go for myself!
My starting weight was 57kg with a goal of reaching 54kg and toning my mid-section, a goal that I thought would only be achievable with lots of strict eating and exercising. Boy was I wrong!
Week One - I lost 2.5kg, my stomach had really flattened out and my energy levels were already spiking.
Week Four - I had already reached the goal weight I set out to achieve which was 54kg, so I set a new goal of 52kg and my waist was really trimming down. By this time I was also sleeping much better and waking up full of life!
Week Eight - I have weighed in at 51.6kg and have lost a ridiculous amount of cm’s from my body! Results that would have taken me the better part of a year to achieve on my own!
(Hips 92cm to 88cm, Waist 68cm to 60cm, Arms 28cm to 26cm, Thighs 56cm to 50cm and unfortunately, Bust 84cm to 78cm – a total of 26cm!!!)
Throughout the challenge I ate relatively (80%) clean and exercised 2-3 times a week, so I really didn’t have to alter my lifestyle to achieve the results I did. I also spent 2 of the weeks in Miami where I ate (and drank) a lot more than I should have, but we all have to indulge a little don’t we?
