I am so excited to have successfully completed my first 8 week challenge.

Over the past two years, my life has completely changed. Going back to the end of 2011, I was in a car accident that turned my life upside down, I couldn't play soccer anymore and after playing it non-stop for 12 years, it broke me not being able to play anymore and also it made my job and passion as a hairdresser become harder. The accident made me realize how precious life is and how much I took for granted.

Over the past two years, I haven't been happy with my body, my health nor at the stage of my life that I have always dreamed off. I always made excuses, and when I would have a setback from the injuries from the accident, I would just fall even deeper into this hole, I made myself fall into. I had a mindset that this is how my life was going to be.

One day 9 weeks ago now, I told myself that this isn't how I want my life to be anymore. I saw this post on Facebook from my now personal trainer about a 8 week challenge and I messaged him straight away. Planned a meeting and dragged my friend along.
3hours later, we signed up for the challenge. We didn't plan to jump on board straight away but we did. I was scared, thinking if it's going to be a waste of money, time and if it actually is going to help us. But instead of thinking bout it, we jumped in.

I made goals for myself that I wanted to achieve over the 8 weeks. Since the accident I put on 20 kilos so my main goal was to lose the weight.
Also to become that happy, energetic, healthy young women I deserve to be.

Over the past 8 weeks, I have been training with my trainer Chris Reid and he has been there by my side every step of the way, helping me with my nutrition and exercise. Without him, it would of been very hard for me to get the results I aimed for and also having the right mindset. I did weight training 3-5 times a week.

I had the slim set! The MRP was a brilliant replacement for morning or afternoon snack binging.
My berry blast is my favourite product, gave me the energy I needed to perk up for my early morning sessions.

After the first few weeks, I really started to feel better within myself but it wasn't until the last 2 weeks that I noticed changes on the outside.
My challenge ended on a massive high! I have gained so much out of this challenge but also lost a lot to! Meaning weight! :)

My starting weight was 84.8kg
My weight today is 76.6kg
Making my total loss this challenge a remarkable 8.2kg!
I lost a total of 63cm off my whole body.

I now feel on top of the world, I do still have some minor setbacks now and then due the injuries from the accident but I find a way to work with it and move forward. I'm feeling the best I have ever felt, I feel fresh, happy and healthy!

Over the past 8 weeks, I haven't just changed my health and fitness, I have evolved into someone who has a lot more confidence, loving every day, and being so thankful to my family and my close friends who support me though everything.

This challenge has completely changed my health, fitness, mindset and my life!

This challenge is the start of something amazing! Looking forward to starting my next one:)
