End of challenge two signifies a few great learnings in my life and it also signifies the start of challenge number three. I am so proud of how far I have come in terms of the 8 week best body challenge because it also reflects how far I have developed as a person, for the better. In the past I would've have considered a third challenge and any challenge really as hard work and something I was bound to fail in - so surely not trying would be the better option. This challenge I set the goal of achieving abs definition and resting arm derfinition, both areas of my body improved significantly and I now don't view challenges - whether they be physical, mental, emotional, in business, or in my relationships as hard work - I can see now that they are the chance for me to have a crack and do better, be better. I have learnt there is no failure, only feedback.
During this challenge I took all of the products and was training on and off up to 5 times per week - there were a significant few weeks where do to travel and course work away from home I didn't train at all, and there were weeks where I let my cake and baked goods addictions well and truly get the better of me. I was working anywhere up to 45 hours per week in between two different physiotherapy clinics and I know that the meal replacements ensured I never missed breakfast and had a great start to my sometimes 12 hour days. The greens and berry blasts meant I could smash through those days and even get to train when I had time. I was concerned working such long days that I would certainly end up unwell with the standard winter cold or flu virus and for the first time I can remember I have gotten through winter without catching one at all!!!
In terms of training this was the first time I consistently took the repair ultras and I was super impressed, I can now train arms and shoulders like I never have before, I grew up swimming competitively and was diagnosed with lax shoulder joints when I was a teenager, I had stabilising surgery on my left in my early 20s and have always believed them to be the weakest part of my body and didn't think they would ever improve. I have been so surprised that I have not only been able to start training them, but also that it hasn't caused me increased pain in them. Not only that I noticed that since starting on the repairs I am not waking as often during the night due to pins and needles in my hands, I have had a massive reduction in how often I get headaches and I am confident in my ability to demonstrate exercises to my physiotherapy clients in respect of 1. being able to do them properly and 2. not hurt myself doing them. Another happy side-effect of the repairs (and a massive over share) is the that a fungal nail infection I have had since I was 14 and have tried EVERYTHING on is now clearing up!!!! - I have found my new favorite product!!!
So stay tuned for challenge 3! I am ready to PLAY ALL OUT.
