I had high hopes starting the challenge. My goal of adding twelve pounds seemed overly optimistic even to me. Sadly I fell a little short and long added 10 pounds. Even though I fell short, I'm still very happy about gaining 10 pounds. I would have far surpassed my goal had I not gotten sick three times during my 8 week challenge. I got strep throat twice and a sinus infection once; each time losing about 4 pounds.
I've struggled gaining muscle weight for several years now ever since I got injured playing high school football. Three years ago when I was 16 I injured my back playing high school football. I herniated my L4 and L5 discs. After sitting out for the summer to see if it would naturally heal I decided to have surgery. The first surgery seemingly went well, however, 6 weeks post op (week before I was getting cleared) I formed a staph abscess in my back. The staph was also in my blood stream. After being put into emergency surgery, I was sent home 3 days later with a picc line. A week later I discovered a spinal fluid leak due to the second surgery. I then had to have a third surgery to correct this, and also had to lay flat on my back for a week with a spinal tap in to drain the fluid. After this horrible event was over, I left the hospital 50 pounds lighter than I had first entered. Weighing 190 prior to my first surgery and 140 after it was all over.
Ever since this I have struggled to gain weight. I worked and worked and worked after I was cleared to gain weight, but never was able to get back to 190. Going into my senior football season I weighed 170 and that was after doing everything I possibly could to gain weight. I even became a licensed personal trainer during my recovery because I developed such a passion for it. So through all of my training and education I still was not able to gain the weight. It's been like this ever since, and now I'm going into my second year of college.
That being said, I was blown away by the results I got taking the Yor health supplements. I didn't change my training routine or my dietary habits, merely the supplements I took. I've tried every supplement out there over my several year quest to gain my weight back. Nothing is comparable to the Yor health line. After jumping over 180 (5lb gain) in a little over a week, I was blown away. Never have I been able to gain that much weight so fast (good weight that is). These products have changed the way I live. I used to try all kinds of crazy things to gain weight, and now it's easy. A few pills and some shakes that's all. Not to mention I have trouble limiting myself to 3 shakes on heavy training days because they taste to good.
On top of the weight gain, I feel better throughout the day than ever before. My digestive system has never been amazing due to the amount of food I intake trying to gain weight, but the Yor health enzymes have done wonders for me. I feel amazing. On top of that, I sleep better and wake up more refreshed. I really can't say enough about these products because they really do make you feel that much better.
In every aspect I hoped they would, these products have helped me. I so happy I decided to take the challenge and will continue to use Yor health on a daily basis.
