Participating in this 8 week challenge has been nothing short of phenomenal. I gained alot of weight this winter getting up to 148 lbs which was my heaviest. I carried all of my weight in my stomach which was extremely uncomfortable and at times painful. I was unable to fit into my clothing, with my sweats even getting tight. I did not have the motivation to get myself together and I was extremely unhappy. After seeing my friends gain great results during the first cycle, I knew I was capable, there was no excuse and I had to do it. This challenge has given me the opportunity to re-gain and retrain myself to build better disciplines, hold to my commitments, and build better habits that have overall transferred into every other aspect of my life. I currently work a minimum of 56 hrs/wk, am pursuing nursing school, running the business, and trying to get fit. All combined can be difficult to balance let alone perform optimally. The disciplines and habits that I have taken from this challenge have been applied to all areas, allowing me to not only balance but excel in each area. Throughout these 8 weeks, I used the entire product line with MRP's twice a day, (breakfast and post workout) and worked out 5-6 days a week. During the last 3 weeks of the cycle, I challenged myself to workout 2 times a day for 5-6 days which I was able to do with the exception of a day or two. Throughout this time, I have been able to maintain a 3.9 gpa, perform exceptionally well at work, promote the business, help friends get healthy and get closer to achieving my fitness goals. I have regained my confidence in not only my health and fitness but in my belief in myself and ability to achieve any and everything I want. This challenge has given me a jump start to what I call a "New Life", a new healthy, progressive way of living. Not simply talking and wishing for it, but applying it and becoming a living example for myself. I have a whole new set of goals I have built upon my old ones and I am so excited to work towards them. At this current time, I have several family members whose health are digressing due to improper care of their bodies, one of which is my grandfather who is on life support and will soon pass in the next few days. I share this not for pity but to say that it is because of these experiences that health is so important to me and although it may not be easy to take the extra time to work out or be consistent with the products, it is an upmost priority in my life and that is why I take it so seriously. Health is a gift we must preserve and most importantly, share!
