I was injured while loading medical equipment to be shipped to Honduras at the end of 2013 so could not exercise and let myself become heavier(but never over 200 pounds-why am I happy about that) than I have ever been. YOR Repair Ultra was used to help me heal quicker than I should have so became a big fan at that time. My son, Jonathan, mentioned I should start taking care of my physical health so I could be happy and active when I retire and a good motivator would be joining the YOR health challenge right now-sooner than later-yesterday. I got his point and had him sign me up for next challenge. Lucky for me Gayle, my wife, had already started a healthier lifestyle to get ready for our daughters wedding. The YOR Health Challenge made us get serious about taking the YOR Health products and cut out sugar and other unhealthy habits. 1 Repair Ultra and 1 Probiotic was taken when I first woke up with at least 1 glass of water. 1 Digest Ultra was taken before each meal and 2 Essential Vitamins were taken with each meal. 1 Repair Ultra was taken before bedtime each day. YOR CompleteBurn was used the first month 1/2 hour before exercise but was replaced by YOR Super Slim taken 1/2 to 1 hour before meals the second month on advice from Jonathan, our rep. Both worked well. Water, tea and coffee were the liquids that were the healthier choices and would not make me feel deprived so pop and sugar juices were eliminated from my diet. Early morning is not a problem so I lifted weights 3 times per week on Tuesday and Thursday at 5 a.m. and the weekend at 8a.m. (no one would open the gym at 5-so sad). Cardio for 3 days-treadmill, elliptical or stairs. On the seventh day I rested. Meals consisted of a protein and carbohydrate for breakfast. 1 piece of fruit for a snack before lunch. Protein, carbohydrate and a vegetable for lunch and dinner. Fish, chicken and turkey were the choices as I made the decision not to use red meat till after the challenge and then only some of the time until I get to my normal weight which I could not reach in 2 months. Vegetable or nuts for snack before dinner. MRP could be used as substitute for any and all meals depending on how I felt. Greens were used at least once per day. Just shake it- Taylor Swift song normally on radio when I drove to gym at 5a.m.-sad I know that. My in-laws were awesome as they made sure that there was no ice cream,candy or pop(soda as New Jersey people say) at house when we visited to clean out parents house for future sale. It helps to have people on your side to complete the challenge. I have gone from 196 to 178 lbs so lost weight and so very happy because can use old clothes instead of buying new clothes. I did not get tired and my knees did not hurt when walked long distances such as when you are late to dance competitions and have to park far away- so endurance increased. After about 6 weeks I can lift more weight and not get as tired as before so increased strength. On a personal note I am not as intimidated by the other lifters as I compete against myself. Gayle and I have already discussed that our lovely children think this 8 week challenge has helped us develop the successful habits that will help us CONTINUE to improve ourselves.
