For me I have always been pretty fit from dancing and constantly being active. But unfortunately last year in May right during my trip to China I received news that my father was diagnosed with one of the worst forms of brain cancer. Upon my arrival everything changed including taking care of myself. All my focus turned to taking care of my father and my family. My eating habits went from relatively healthy to just eating junk. I became inconsistent on my products, working out was no longer a part of my daily routine and physically I began feeling more and more tired due to lack of sleep. Thankfully things started getting better the beginning of this year and when March came around i just knew I had to get my act together because if i wanted to continue being there for my father and the rest of my family, I needed to make sure I was in good health as well. The 8-week challenge really got me back on track with being consistent on all my products, eating a little better and doing my best to exercise at least 3x a week. I am definitely not where I used to be or where I'd like to be but I have taken a good leap forward in that direction. I feel good and I am excited to continue on with another 8 weeks. =)
