Eight weeks ago I decided to do the 8 week your best body challenge. I wanted to do this to motivate myself more and appeal to my competitive side. My starting weight was 66kg and after 8 weeks I am now 71kg. I have always found it difficult to put on weight especially with a shoulder injury I had in the past; but, to see results like this is in such a short amount of time is astonishing and something I didn’t think was possible for me.

I had enormous strength increases for my exercises which included;
• Deadlifts from 70kg to 110kg
• Squats from 60kg to 97.5kg
• Dumbell bench press from 14kg to 24kg

I believe the yor health supplements had a massive impact on my overall performance and weight gain. I used the Yor Supergreens, Yor Berry Blast, Yor Digest Ultra, Yor Repair Ultra, Yor Probiotics Ultra and the Yor MRP. Using these supplements I found a drastic increase in my performance in the gym where I was increasing the weight by 2.5kg almost every session on squats and deadlifts. Seeing these results was incredible considering I was training for weight gain mostly rather than strength gain. The Berry Blast gave me a substantial energy increase over a sustained period of time, which was great during gym session because I wouldn’t burn out towards the end training and I could continue pushing harder than I could without it. Using the Berry Blast in conjunction with the Supergreens and the Yor MRP enabled me to have a wholesome breakfast and a large energy boost in the morning on days that I did not have time to prepare breakfast; the MRP also served as a delicious nutritious snack when mixed with a banana. The Yor Digest significantly decreases the negative side effects I get when drinking milk or dairy based products as I am lactose intolerant to some degree. I took the Yor Digest ultra during most meals, especially if they contained dairy. I believe my short recovery times were caused by using these supplements especially the Yor Repair Ultra which I took every morning in conjunction with a healthy diet.

Having my friends in yor health greatly helped my motivation by always having someone positive when other people around me were always negative. For example people before would joke about my gains and I quote "you don't even look like you lift", this would intern discourage and demotivate me to a degree. By having an encouraging group around me I felt far more motivated and never disheartened.

The challenge has changed the way I think about my fitness goals. I have a better understanding of what I need to do to achieve them like calorie counting that I was taught by a Yor Health member. The challenge has greatly increased my discipline and taught me to never miss a day. If I did not meet the people in Yor Health I would never have reached 71kg which is the heaviest I have ever been. The 8 week challenge has improved my confidence in my own abilities and in general.
