My first 8-week challenge has been an interesting journey. From working long hours and not having that motivation to workout anymore, I honestly thought it was the age. I've been with YOR Health for 5 years and I've taken the products these whole 5 years and thank God they're great products. But as I mentioned in my initial journal, I didn't have that spark anymore. I wasn't motivated to workout like I used to. As an elite cyclist, I was beginning to lose to people way older than me. As soon as I'd start to feel the burning sensation in my legs, I'd slow down; I just didn't have that drive. Even my wife was beginning to get worried, she would tell me, "go ride", you were so much more fun, you were always laughing and way more active than you are now. I was frustrated, irritated, and stressed out most of the time and my wife knew it. Silence is how I cope with those feelings, because when my wife would ask me, "what's wrong?", I'd just answer, "nothing". This challenge did something more important than just get me fit again, it got me active again. I'm back on my bike again and I've recovered a lot of my fitness to the point where some of my friends are telling me to slow down. But most importantly, I make my wife laugh again and we're having more fun than ever. I'm working out daily, I take my supergreens, vitamins and shake after my workouts. Then I take a shake later in the day as a snack. I may not have hit my physical goal this 8-week challenge, but I found that spark I had lost, which was my spiritual goal. Life is fun again.
