WOW this 8 week challenge is exactly what i needed to take control of my life, my fitness and my health. I just had my second baby at the end of July and so life was crazy busy juggling my 2.5 year old and 3 month old and to complicate matters even more we were moving house and had a 6 week period of jumping between places until we got our new house. I found losing the ‘baby’ weight this time around very tricky and it was defiantly because I wasn’t making my health, diet and exercise a priority.. I was worrying so much about everyone else and had no energy left for me…I wasn’t exercising much, I was drinking 2-3 coffees a day to make it through the fatigue and making some poor diet choices too, which had me fed up with my body and feeling really exhausted and unhealthy.
This challenge gave me a reason to make my health and well being a priority. I decided at the start of the challenge that I would stop drinking coffee for the caffeine kick, do some sort of exercise everyday and eat clean. I took the YOR probiotic every morning upon rising, I ate a healthy breaky and had a berry blast (instead of my usual coffee), I had fiber and super greens mid morning as well as a snack. For lunch I often had a salad but if I was out or in a rush or not organized for a healthy meal I had 2 scoops of MRP shake. I had a healthy snack in the arvo and then a digest ultra with my dinner and lots of water throughout the day!
I did lots of exercise outdoors!!! AMAZING! I put more Km’s on my pram than my car as I made the effort to walk everywhere possible instead of driving. I ran a few times a week and did some pushups, sit-ups, dips etc. at home. In the second half of the challenge I joined a gym and did group fitness classes 3-4 times a week (body pump, RPM, body attack). I ate very clean and learnt that the key was to be really organized with meals to avoid unhealthy choices. My sweet tooth quickly dwindled and I no longer required that sweet taste after a meal… I found heaps of amazing healthy clean eating recipes and learnt that you can find the clean version of most things and they taste great!
I was very dedicated for the first 4 weeks but do admit the last 4 weeks I did have a few ‘cheat days’ for xmas parties and social events as well as allowed myself to have social coffees and a few treats now and again…Which with the help of the amazing YOR products and a little extra exercise i was able to stay on track and still have some incredible results. The scales have not changed much…but I feel heaps stronger and over all much happier with my body and my fitness level and i think the photos say it all! I started at 63 kilos and am now 60 kilos. I have loads of energy to get through my day and don’t rely on the caffeine anymore.. just enjoy it once in awhile :) This challenge has helped me kick start a sustainable healthy lifestyle which allows me to maintain a lovely balance between clean eating and fitness but also to still enjoy some little treats and stay on track! I still have a ways to go.. so have set myself some new goals and with the help of YOR Health products know I will continue to smash them. Thanks to gang in Roxby for allowing to me join your Facebook page and Happy New Year to everyone!

As with any health or fitness program, regular exercise and a sensible eating plan are essential to achieve long-term weight loss results. No customer was paid for a testimonial.
