The 8 week challenge is over and what a great experience it has been. This was a first step for me, my goals are to completely transform over the next 12 months and I could not have asked for a better start. This challenge took place for me during the holidays; which usually means weight gain for me. In this case I lost 32 pounds!! I started this challenge at 409 pounds, I had to make some changes, a few months before a friend introduced me to the Yorhealth products, I had been loosing weight but the progress was slow and I was getting a little discouraged. The products and the challenge gave me new confidence and a sense of hope I hadn’t had for quite awhile. I am now 377 pounds, that means I still have a long way to go but with the help of these products I think I am well on my way to my ultimate goals. I am so thankful that I have been introduced to these products, I had more energy during the day and I felt that my body’s digestive system really got whipped back into shape after years of abuse from burgers and pizza. The 8 week challenge was also great for me, I had never let my weight be out in public like that, at first I wasn’t sure about that, but instead I found that it helped me keep focus and I was encouraged looking at other people and the success they were having. I was able to stay focused even during the holidays; which in my house, is full of temptations.

During the challenge I used, the Super Slim (2 with each meal), Digest Ultra (once with breakfast once with Dinner) Probiotics Ultra (primarily I took these just before bed and in the 2nd month I started taking one in the morning too) Complete Burn (added this product in the 2nd month) and Super greens (1-2 times each day) The products were great; I had already changed my diet to healthier foods, no more soda, more fruits and vegetables but when I added the digestive supplements into my diet I felt like everything started clicking. I had more energy, and just overall felt great. The Super Greens are amazing, this delivers so many vital nutrients into your system. I’m not smart enough to understand how it all works, but I know that every time I drank the Super greens I felt energized and I had a calm mental clarity at the same time. I would mix the super green powder with spinach, apples, and kale and just made it into a tasty smoothy. I had been going to water aerobics 2-3 times a week, and when I started the challenge I had more energy and began going 6 days a week. It has been great, because of my size, exercise on land was just too painful on my joints, in the water I can go hard for an hour or two and have no pain. Just before I went to the pool I would have the super greens and it was just a great energy boost. I made sure to have a protein shake when I got back from the gym to replenish my muscles. I think during the challenge I probably added on some muscle weight.

I had come to a point in life where I needed to make serious changes;I had become pathetic, I would have pain in my back simply from walking into a store to buy gum. I could not stand for more than 10 minutes without my back or knees forcing me to sit back down. My confidence was low, I was dealing with many difficult challenges in my life and unfortunately I had turned to food as some form of comfort. I think that being overweight had become my identity, food was my social scene. When I was younger I was captain of the Basketball team, baseball, track and field; I was a pretty good athlete and in very good shape. If I was going to do something with friends, it likely involved physical activity. When I started getting heavy, I no longer was invited to go play some ball, instead I was invited to go out to eat. It became my identity, and before I knew it I was getting much bigger, then when some events that were really difficult happened in my life, I really turned to food. I used to think it was so unbelievable how someone let themselves get so big, and now it had happened to me. I’m not getting younger and I don’t want to live like this anymore so I had to make changes. The 8 week challenge came at a perfect time for me and I truly believe that this is just the start, the kick start I need to realize my ultimate goal. I am excited about the future and I haven’t been able to say that for a long time. So THANK YOU YOR HEALTH! I Loved the 8 week challenge it helped me stay focused, I plan on participating in the challenge again, getting to the 100 pound club and beyond. This is only the beginning. Also a huge Thank You! to my friends who introduced me to these great products and for all their support.
