Just a small snippet about me; I grew up within the Hunter Valley sitting in the back of gym class studios, watching my physique model mum do what she loved – training and being healthy, therefore I developed a strong passion for the industry at a young age. After finishing Year 12, I moved to Coffs Harbour where I started working in a gym and eventually worked my way up to a manager role, I also represented and placed in events such as Miss Coffs Coast; however, to place in these competitions I would develop unhealthy habits in order to have the skinny lean look on stage. I would stop eating, over train and looking back at photos I look the thinnest I had ever been, and definitely not in a good way – I was so unhealthy and sick with dull skin and baggy eyes and sunken face. I ended up moving back to the Hunter Valley after a few years, leaving behind a bad relationship and a few awful events which were beginning to eat away at me as a person and negatively influence my outlook on life causing more unhealthy eating and drinking habits for me. I was able to still continue working within this Club for a couple more years and then I met my fiancé who turned my life around and back on the path of health, fitness and wellbeing. We now have our own personal training business; Elyte Aims Fitness and Wellbeing.
Being in and around the fitness industry for most of my life, I had pretty much tried or heard about every different product out there that was going to magically make me fitter, faster, stronger and leaner; yet after a few bad experiences with hard core fat burners and pre workouts etc, Igave up on the idea of these mysterious potions (that I couldn’t even pronounce most the ingredients of).
Then just a few months ago, I heard about the Yor Health products with my fiancè Riyaan from an old school friend and his partner. After a lot of personal research and questioning from my Fiancé and myself due to being so sceptical, we finally had no reason to not try the products. I was excited to try the products and especially see what a difference they would make for me both physically and emotionally. And my God did they change me in so many ways! and it was so easy!!! I made no major diet changes and no big adjustments to my training schedule either. I was already training around 5-6 days a week and my diet was all about balance (I love food!). As I did this challenge over the “Silly Season” and all that comes with the season I am amazed with what I have achieved without even trying!!
Monday through to Friday I would do basic weight training in the morning and often participate in our businesses group training sessions which would involve functional training or boxing and other forms of cardio in the evening. On Saturday we would have another group session in the morning then the weekend was a time to relax in regards to exercise and we would be social with friends and eat what we desire and have a few drinks (as we are all for life being about balance). This lifestyle was not changed at all!!!
The Yor Health Products were simply added into this lifestyle; which to me, made the products the true meaning of ‘supplementation’ (as I have worked within a supplement store and know too well the gimmicks that are posed in order to validate the expensive pricing of products that 1. we have no idea what they are doing to our bodies and the outcomes of them all in years to come and 2. Change on and off the shelves weekly due to illegal and harmful ingredients).
In the morning I would wake with a small coffee (this being my only one for the day now – as I used to have 2-3) take my Repair Ultra and Super Slims, I would then do my weight training and make my Yor Shake and take my multi vitamins when I was done for the easiest breakfast ever on the way to work!! The rest of the work day was just adding my Slims half an hour before lunch and taking my Multi Vitamins and a digest with that meal. Before knock off time at around 4pm, I would mix up my SuperBlast (SuperGreens, Berry Blast and Fibre Plus) and head to our group sessions and join in the training then SuperSlims before making dinner and again take the Multi’s and Digest with Dinner. Lastly I would take my Repair Ultra and Probiotic on my way into bed.
The addition of these REAL supplements to my life has changed me immensely and in ways I didn’t even anticipate, I don’t catch the colds or the flu when it went around (I was always susceptible to these kinds of sicknesses going around), I got fit an lean (only other time my abs have shown was with EXTREME strict diet and EXTREMELY hard training), my hair and nails were strong and beautiful and shiny (previously breaking and splitting), my skin started glowing (other people were noticing and thinking I had a light tan on ect), my metabolism became faster and my digestive system more regular and working the best it has ever been in my entire life and even other personal issues I had in regards to medical health have disappeared for me (I used to have serious medical issues with digestion and other feminine issues – but now they are gone completely!!). these are just all visible changes, I also sleep so much better, am not as sore and I can train harder and lift heavier. I don’t need extra caffeine hits or magic potions to get me in the mood to train or just to be happy and love life!
Overall I am absolutely thrilled with my results and cannot wait to complete another 8 week challenge but this time step up my diet and training efforts and see what my body is really capable of and how good it can feel!!!! I COMMIT TO GET FIT! Thank you Yor Health!
