I am a runner at heart, turned Vegan just over a year ago and have been gifted with a body that can take the onslaught of mile after mile, training for the events I do. I've always wanted to maintain a toned figure but still be able to run far! I started the products 2 weeks prior to running the Melbourne Marathon and leading up to it, I had a back injury as well as having had a cold/flu, which stopped my training dead. I had pushed back my finish time to close to 4 hours, due to a 2 week interruption in training. I didn't notice the difference using the products in those last 2 weeks (Super Greens, fiber, the various probiotics and vitamins as well as the repair ultra), but I ran pain-free in a time of 3:26 hrs which was 2 min off my time the previous year. I can only put it down to the products I was taking. I have also struggled putting on weight as I burn off too many calories with all the running I do, so while I hoped for a 3kg gain, I didn't expect much. In the last 2 weeks of the challenge, I started on the vanilla flavored protein shake, taking a 3rd before exercise, a 3rd during and a 3rd after (sometimes 2 times a day as I did more than 1 workout a day). I have always eaten healthy, but going vegan just meant I was eating more fruit and veg and things like soy milk and tofu. I lost nearly 0.2% fat, gained 1kg muscle and gained nearly my goal of 3kg in weight!! Very happy with the results and can only hope continued use will see me realize all my fitness goals!
