8 weeks ago I embarked on a challenge to better myself, my health and show the world that a one-time skinny-fat girl could transfer to skinny-fit.

A few weeks before embarking on this challenge I had altered my eating habits from fast on- the-go meals of a busy Londoner to raw vegan (bar 2 eggs a day for added protein), no caffeine, no gluten, no added sugars and no alcohol. In the three weeks before the challenge I was fatigued – which I had expected – and I feared that my energy would not be enough to hit the gym as much as I wanted. Then, the miracle cure arrived by way of DHL – YOR BerryBlast and YOR Supergreens. I had done my research I knew the added benefits of alkalising and understood the nutritional values of the YOR BerryBlast. Along with the YOR Vitamin, YOR Probiotic and YOR Repair I was armed with the nutritional supplements that would get me through the next 8 weeks.

I made a commitment to myself that I would train 4-5 times a week, now let’s put this into perspective; it had been a good year since I was last in a gym or in a workout class. I signed up to a local gym and committed myself to getting up at 5am (ok occasionally 6am) and hitting the gym before work. Many people ask me why I was so crazy in the midst of a London winter to get up so early, “why not go after work” they said…reality is that life gets in the way…you know what I mean, your intentions are there and then your boss needs a presentation finished before you leave the office or your friend pops into town and is only here for an evening and would love to have dinner…the distractions can be endless. By committing to a morning workout this time would not be overrun with life’s little hurdles.

Now this was no easy ride, life certainly threw a few curve balls my way during this challenge, regardless of how much I tried to plan. I got quite ill about half way through it and that stinted my gym visits for about 7 days, I made the choice to choose rest above my workouts to ensure I healed fully. There were a few days where I also had to come in to the office early and missed a class here and there. During this time I was really down thinking I would not achieve my goals, but the fact of the matter is that this challenge is set in a way that you are doing good through taking the supplements themselves and I truly believe that it was the balancing of my body’s nutrition that allowed me to get better fast and re-initiate the gym so quickly after an illness.

Eight weeks have passed and I could not be happier with the changes I have seen not only in my physical appearance but also in my mental health, internal well-being and the inspiration others are receiving from my choice to take on the 8 Week Best Body Challenge.

Before I began as said I was fatigued, my skin was prone to acne and I was bloated. 8 weeks on I have more energy than before (even though I am doing more than before, I never used to go to the gym or have to prepare meals from scratch). Although I am yet to obtain the 6-pack I am aiming for I am well on my way. My posture is better, I have gained strength, my skin is clearer (I add thanks to the YOR Repair for that one). I am definitely less bloated (thanks to YOR Digest Ultra) and I cannot wait to embark on my second 8 week challenge.

Optimal results are achieved when following the product regimen in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.

Individual results may vary. Factors that may affect your results include (but are not limited to) your metabolism, exercise routine, diet, smoking, pregnancy, current medications and any medical conditions. As with any health or fitness program, regular exercise and a sensible eating plan are essential to achieve long-term weight loss results. No customer was paid for a testimonial.
