Kia Ora my YOR Health Whanau. My name is Shonteé Maheno, I come from a little town called Kaitaia in the Far North of New Zealand. For 3-5 years I have struggled with my weight, up and down like a yo-yo. I got to the point where I was not happy, comfortable and confident in my body. That is when I decided that I had to do something about it. So I jumped on the YOR health 8 week challenge. It is the best decision I have made. I started off with weighing in at 90.9kgs. My goal weight is 75kg. To date I now weigh 84.5kgs. Before taking the products I was always tired and had no energy. Would always come home after work to have a nap before doing dinner or other chores around the house.
My diet before the challenge consisted of carbs, fizzies, junk, takeways, beer etc. I changed my diet with taking the products to:
Morning: Breakfast (e.g, cereal or bacon & eggs) followed by, 2 scoops YOR Fiber Plus, 1 scoop YOR Super Greens, 1 YOR Berry Blast with 2 x YOR Essential Vitamins
Lunch: Meal (e.g. chicken, salad, fruit, yoghurt water etc) followed by 2 x YOR Essential Vitamins and 1 x YOR Digest Ultra
Dinner: Meal (e.g Steak, salad, chicken, eggs, water etc) followed by 2 x YOR Essential Vitamins and 1 x YOR Digest Ultra
Evening: 1 x YOR Probiotic Ultra
My exercise plan was non existant. Once I started the 8 week challenge I started off with walking 2 kms, then increasing it to 4 kms and eventually after a month I could do 6kms. I had so much energy after week 3 and alternatively doing work outs (burpees, step ups, squats, sit ups, skips etc) one day then a walk/jog the next day. I would work out 4-6 times a week, giving myself a 1 day rest rule.
During these 8 weeks I have gone through my own personal issues, which in turn did make me feel like giving up. But through all the stress and everything it actually pushed me harder to achieve my goals and stick to it. I am truly proud of myself, and plan on living a more healthier lifestyle. If anything I wish I had done this earlier, but like the old saying ... better late than never.
