My 8 week challenge is finished and Im feeling and looking amazing for it! I am in the sculpt challenge so I have the sculpt kit. I couldn't wait to take all the products, I already had been on some of the products and was so happy with the results from them so I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen when I started to take the whole kit with training on top of it too! What an 8 weeks it was..... Starting off my challenge I was totally pumped for it! I knew where I wanted to be and this was the kickstart to get me there. Being a mum and working and trying to keep on top of my health and fitness goals had been proving to be harder than I though at times and I let it get on top of me instead. I had been in amazing, peak health and fitness since I had given birth to Lilah so I knew I could do it. I had the full support from my partner, Clay, which was a big motivator for me aswell. He is a PT and he had also committed to keeping me on track with my goals and training me throughout the challenge.the first week into the challenge was amazing, I felt great, I had loads more energy, which I mostly thank my berry blast for haha, it was my morning pick me up! I was smashing the gym sessions and just felt better and happier in general. I got to the 7 day mark and weighed myself and the scales impressed me! I had lost 2.2kg in the first week! Hell yes haha. I was stoked with that result and it was more than I was expecting. This gave me so much more determination and I was even more motivated now. By this time, I had really got a feel for all the products and got a routine down for when I was having them. I was loving my MRP mixed with fibre (I had the fibre previously and I love it so I always take it now) either for brekky or dinner if I was low on time and couldn't cook, it tastes AMAZING and is really satisfying. I found for me having the berry blast when I arrived at work around 10am worked for me well. I usually needed a bit of a kick at that time of the morning to get me through. I then had the super greens in the arvo after my lunch, it was a snack for me really, I liked having all my powders at different times because with the water I mxed it with, it kept me satisfied rather than having it all mixed together in one lot of water. Than taking my repair, morning and night and my digest pills with my two biggest meals I was top of it all.The second week in got off to a great start. Half way theough the week, the news came through that my Nan was extremely ill in hospital and would most likely not make it through the night. I was devestated! I made the trip to be by her side with the rest of my family. She passed away the next day. Throughout the rest of the week my eating and training was not where I was hoping for it to be. I was highly emotional and distracted and needed to be with my family. In saying that, it could have been a lot worse and I never lost sight of maintaining my goals finishing the challenge. I felt a different kind of motivation now, I felt like this was a major test for me and I needed to stick to my goals and push myself even though it was hard and I didn't feel like it. I needed to show myself that I was strong enough to carry on. So my goal was to train 6 days a week, although I did well in my first week, the second week in, that didn't happen. Back into week 3, I was back on track with my training and eating. I really got quiet addicted to the way I was feeling, my mindset was changing aswell as my lifestyle with this challenge. The more improvement I was seeing and the better I was feeling, the more intensely I wanted it. There were also times where i was faced with challenges, big and small and I really did feel like crawling into a hole and hiding and giving up on the whole thing! At times like this I was so, so greatful to have Clay by my side to comfort me yet at the same time remind me of why I was doing this and how well I had done so far and the goals I had already achieved along the way. He kept me motivated and strong and built such belief in myself that I was going to absolutely smash this challenge. Looking back now on all that had happened throughout the whole challenge, I am so proud of myself and how I pushed through it all. I really feel like I learnt a lot about the person I am and the things that I am capable of. For me it was all about pushing through no matter what. I am so happy I have such an amazing partner and family and now realise how I feel such gratitude to them and the support they have given me!
