Hi, my name is Loren, I am 23 years old and I have always been the 'bigger girl'. In year 12 I lost 10kgs just from living a healthier lifestyle and exercising more, I felt great and looked even better. Once I finished school my weight gain slowly and slowly increased. I started losing weight again at the end of 2013 but then put it all back on and more after having an awful arthroscopy expereince on my right knee in August 2014, I wasn't able to exercise for 4 months as they stuffed my physcio appointments etc.
Starting this challenge, my weight was the heaviest it has ever been in my entire life. I felt uncomfortable in my clothes and around other people. I hated seeing myself naked and constantly worried what people thought of me. I knew I needed to make a change.
My personal trainer had been telling me to try YorHealth for about 18 months but I just wasn't buying it. I thought there must be some catch, its all fake, real people won't win these 8 week challenges. I have always been unsure of "diet shakes" and "weight loss pills". After lengthy chats with my trainer she opened my eyes and said YoHealth is really all about good gut health and making sure body is getting the best out of everything you put into it. So, while I was growing more and more disheartened with my weight gain, I finally caved, purchased a YorHealth go green set with a mindset of "what do I have to lose, other then a few kgs?"
So what did I lose? Well, from 10 March 2015 to 28 April 2015 (today) I have lost 5.6kgs (or 12.34 pounds) and this is only the beginning!
As far as taking the YorHealth products go, in the mornings for breakfast I have 2 and 1/2 scoops of yorhealth chocolate shake, 1 scoop of super greens, 1 berry blast and 1 scoop of fiber all blended together into 300mls of icey cold water with an extra 2 ice cubs (which at first I hated, but now i just love it!), mid morning I have a piece of fruit or some almonds, I have a normal lunch (usually chicken, rice, veggies etc) with 1 digestive tablet and 2 vitamins, I have a peice of fruit in the afternoon for a snack, I have a normal dinner (anything my partner cooks really) with 1 digestive tablet and 2 vitamins and I have 1 probitic before bed.
I find the products easy to take and tasty! Breakfast is breeze, filing and satifying and the tablets fit into my daily routine with such ease.
So, I went from the biggest YorHealth sceptive, to now enrolling in my second 8 week challenge! It has really given me the inspiration I was lacking to commit to getting fit and healthy. During this 8 week challenge, I have a joined a gym, participated in as many boxing classes with my trainer as possible, played netball once a week, gone for 45 minute walks (about 5kms) and jumped on my exercise bike for 20 minute rides as much as possible.
YorHealth, you gotta give it ago! :)
