My weight at the beginning of the challenge was 84.9kg and at the end of the challenge, it is now 81.9kg. Not only has my weight dropped, but I have a lot more muscle tone from adding exercise into my daily routine.
I used the MRP meal replacement shakes throughout the challenge. I tried both the vanilla and chocolate shakes and they are delicious!!!!
I have 1 shake daily to replace a meal, sometimes it was for breakfast and sometimes dinner. I found it was not only tasty but very convenient. Being a mum of 2 young children it made looking after myself just that little bit easier.
I also incorporated an hour of exercise into my daily routine. Monday to Friday I would go to the gym and do Les Mills classes or weight training. On weekends, or days that I couldn't get to the gym, I would go walking or do a workout in the lounge room.
Now that the challenge is at an end, I feel healthier, fitter and lighter. I feel less stressed and that is a big plus when trying to raise children! I love exercising (something I never thought I would say) and getting a good sweat happening. I'm kick starting my life again and in a good way. Better late than never!
On a side note, now that all my clothes are getting too big I'll be able to go on a shopping spree too. Woooooooooo!!!
