Joining the challenge changed the way I saw my body. Being a mom, its hard for me to take care of my family and try to be healthy at the same time. Before the challenge i weighed in at 146 lbs my diet was unhealthy from eating a lot of processed and fast foods. I always wanted to work out but I felt that I never had the time and I was just undedicated and unmotivated. I was also always tired all the time. Even when there wasn't anything to do I was tired, which I know was not normal. So I knew joining this challenge would be a great step forward in my life.
Once I joined the challenge I was super excited. With my life style it was difficult to maintain but I did my best to work out at least every other day. I changed my diet up and almost even became a full vegetarian. I was getting so much energy. I just enjoyed going out to the park and playing outside with my daughter. Close to the end of the challenge i'd be going to the park with her almost everyday. I just need to be outdoors being active.
By the end of the challenge I know i wasn't just doing this for me but for my family. I want to be and inspiration to my daughter and make sure that she doesn't turn into one of those kids that is always playing video games or just on the computer all the time. I have been able to enjoy more activity with my daughter without tiring so quickly. I'm beginning to catch up to her level of play, it's only a matter of time before i can match or even surpass it. With this challenge I KNOW that that is a very attainable goal. Now it's on to the next goal, the next accomplishment, and the next 8 WEEK CHALLENGE!!!!
