I was introduced to YOR health products a couple of years ago and I was pretty skeptical and not really sold on the concept. Maybe it was because I didn’t think I needed it, maybe I thought I was ‘healthy’ or maybe I thought I didn’t need any help to get my lifestyle back inline. Whatever it might have been I turned my back on the products, what a big mistake that was!!
The arrival of my second child in May 2014 was amazing, I was so happy to have a son to go with my beautiful daughter. I had just started the aussie rules football season I was keeping relatively active outside of work.
As the months progressed I found myself not training as much. I found my diet started to really slip from fresh wholefoods to take away. Pizza, maccas, kfc etc. I started to crave sugar through chocolate and soft drink. I found myself getting heavier and heavier. My sleep patterns were also affected, I was restless throughout the night and tired during the day.
As my son’s first birthday approached I realised enough was enough, soon I would become everything I didn’t want to be for my children and wife, a lazy couch potato. I was also fearful that I would be passing my bad eating habits onto my kids, this was the wakeup call I needed.
I’m am lucky enough to be very good friends with a past 8 week challenge winner and YOR health expert Matthew Bate. I orgainsed a catch up with him and we sat for hours going over the YOR health products and how they work and how to incorporate them into my everyday living. I was hooked!
I started the 8 week challenge, order my slim YOR health product pack and rejoined the gym. I emptied out my cupboard and started a food diary and I was away.
I went back to healthy foods, whenever I had big meals I would always have a YOR Digest Ultra to help break down the nutrients from the meal and allow my digestive system to process the food much quicker and better.
I incorporated the YOR meal replacement shakes both chocolate and vanilla into my daily diet, not only were the shakes delicious, they were easy to drink and super easy to consume while I was on the go at work or chasing the kids around.
With the help of the YOR Repair Ultra and YOR probiotics Ultra before I went to sleep, my sleeping patterns become more and more normal. I found myself getting the nice deep sleep my body needed.
During the day and especially before a workout I would have a YOR Berry Blast drink. Boy oh boy did it give me the natural energy I needed. My workouts would turn into 2 hours long and I still had plenty of energy by the end to keep going.
The day I finished the challenge I stepped onto the scales, I knew my hard work with the assistance of the YOR products had paid off and now was the time for me to prove it, I was right! For the first time in well over 3 years I had fallen below the 100kg mark. I was ecstatic!!!
