So the story started with me severely hurting my ankle about 4 months ago now, i ruptured two crucial ligaments in my ankle, rendering me unable to work, play sport or participate in any active kind of movements. I have always been a fairly lean and skinny person so as i started to find sitting at home on crutches not being able to do much, eating junk food and drinking soft drinking, i was starting to put a little bit of around the edges. This was to my disgust as i had never experienced it before and certainly didn't enjoy it. I decided that something was needing to be done and that something needed to happen sooner rather then later. It was then i approached my Chris, i told him what was happening and what i wanted to achieve, it was that i wanted to cut down all the excess fat i had put on my body and all the unhealthy habits and routines i had formed whilst being injured, my ankle at this point was still quite injured so i knew it was going to be a challenge, but i didn't let that stop me. We sat down and talked and figured out exactly what needed to be done and how we were going to achieve it, we figured out a training plan and a new diet plan which was very strict and full on. I instantly adapted to this plan, went shopping the next day for fresh produce and meat and it was from that day that i started my epic challenge and journey. For the bulk of the time i was doing the challenge i was still unable to work, so i was able to constantly eat foods at the allotted times i had chosen, i cooked fresh food and meals twice a week and started taking my supplements. I chose to go with a few YOR products, these were berry blast, super greens, fibre, digest, multi vitamin and repair. I found these products to be extremely helpful, i noticed from the first few days onwards once i flushed my system of all the rubbish i had been eating and got my digestive system back to full health that i was always feeling great, regular and healthy as well as always being full of energy. As my ankle was still injured and still is quite injured gym was impaired slightly by this fact, but i never let it beat me down, we came up with alternative ways to train my legs and do cardio exercises that weren't going to jeopardise my recovery. As the challenge went i i just kept feeling better and better, the gym sessions were getting more enjoyable and way more intense as the muscle built up and results were starting to be seen, i loved going every single day and every session i had i tried to make bigger and better then the last. I exercised 6-7 times a week, always allowing myself and hour or two to get to gym and absolutely annihilate the muscle groups i was training that day, i was loving it, feeling good, starting to look good and getting the results i ever so longed for. It was a lot of time and effort invested into making healthy nutritious meals and getting to the gym for beast mode sessions. With a few weeks left to go of the challenge i went back to work, i started working extremely long hours as well as working 6-7 days a week. This included working 12+ hours each day doing manual labour as a commercial electrician. I didn't let this jeopardise my challenge though, i let it inspire me, to put in ever more effort, i pre-packed all my lunches and meals and made sure i had something nutritious to have at every point of the day, especially including my supps, a super blast (super greens, berry blast and fibre0 is the ultimate way to start the day, great tasting, plenty of long lasting natural energy and super good for your body. I did whatever i needed to do, whether it was working 7am-7pm then going straight to the gym after and still putting in the effort, or getting up early even on my days off when i was extremely tired and still putting in the effort. Nothing was going to get in the way of what i wanted, i had a clear vision and goal and tunnel vision to get there, i always considered outside factors and influences but never let them change me or sway me from my goal. My consultant and trainer Chris was absolutely amazing, i could not recommend higher about anyone else, his work ethic, commitment to clients and passion to see other people get results was inspiring and really helped me to push myself the extra bit. Living a healthy lifestyle isn't easy, but putting the time and money into your own body is the best investment one can make in there lifetime, and i believe in yor health supplements being a great investment into the body. Overall doing this challenge has changed my life because it has given me the confidence and happiness to be comfortable in my own body once again and it has given me the tools to take this 8 weeks and transform it into the rest of my life, to improve me health and vitality and to improve the way i can live my life. A heathy mindset is key, but a healthy body is imperative. The rest of my life as a healthy active and body conscious human being is now well underway and i think that more then anything else is the true result from the challenge.
