When my sister asked me to commit to the 8 week challenge with her, I was extremely hesitant. When I started thinking about it I realised all my clothes were too small and reality hit me - I was sitting at the heaviest weight I had ever been! I decided it was definitely time to do the challenge and I made it all about getting out of my comfort zone. I enrolled in the 8 week challenge and in doing so I also committed to trying at least a few fitness focused activities I had never done before or that I hadn't done in 5 years or more. I started the YOR Best Body Challenge at 57.9kg / 127.64lbs and got so far out my comfort zone that I am now 49.6kg / 109.34lbs!
I started by taking the YOR Probiotics Ultra first thing in the morning - this was like my reminder every morning that everything I put into my body is important. I'd been a breakfast skipper most of my life so also made the challenge about getting breakfast each and every morning. My morning tea was my YOR SuperGreens, YOR Berry Blast, YOR Fibre Plus and sometimes I'd sneak what felt like a naughty - my sisters delicious protein balls or slice she'd made from the YOR Shake. I also took the YOR SuperSlim before higher calorie meals and finished of my day off with my YOR Digest Ultra with dinner.
I walked every morning with my sister, where by the end of the challenge I was actually running again. We also did a HIIT Bootcamp each week. On top of all of this I did my comfort zone breaker and found myself having so much fun doing all sorts of crazy activities like, Belly Dancing, Pole Dancing, Kayaking, Hiking and Trampolining. Thanks to YOR Health I found the motivation and support I needed to get back to my happy place.
To me I have achieved much more than weight loss… I have gained my wardrobe back, a tonne of confidence, new athletic skills and I found my old 'self love!'
