Growing up, I have always struggle with weight. Sometime I would cry to myself about my bodyweight. I have always been bullied about my weight. I was skinny at a point and then all of a sudden, I cannot control my weight gain throughout my childhood. There was a time during my church activities, this one girl called me “Fat” and I cried so much that I stop eating for couple of days and reevaluate my self-worth. At the time, I feel like being skinny was the norm as social media has taught us. I have always dream of having Victoria Secrets’ model body and knew that I could get there someday if I work hard. However, I never seem too been able to make it or take charge of that change. Therefore, I somehow let go of myself and always turn to food whenever I feel sad. Slowly, I started to look into the mirror and didn’t like what I saw in front of the mirror I knew I had to do something.
When I entered into the pageant I was also insecure about my body image. I would go and try on dress to buy for the pageant and I would see a part of my stomach sticking out from underneath the dress. I didn’t like that image at all and soon I got stress and got sick. I look at all the other girls at the pageant, they all would look skinner than me and I feel different. Also growing up as an Asian girl I was supposed to be skinny and have a slim stomach. I was expected to weigh less and was pressure to do so. I sometime would skip meals in order to think that I am losing weight and looking better. Even though I was in Track and Field in High School I was also struggling with weight I would always be the last one to finish the track workout routine, however I never stop until I finish my last lap around the track. My track workout routine become handy later for this 8 week challenge as I am reminded that I should do these workout again.
Once I started this challenge, I knew I was making a lifelong promise to myself to change the way I am physically and mentally. I started to work out on a daily basis and I love drinking the SuperGreen because I normally don’t eat a lot of vegetable and fruits. Instead, I have always turn to snacking on junk food and eat whenever I want to. I also did not eat a normal three meal a day because I thought that if I don’t eat I will lose weight. By taking the products such as the Berry Blast, it has boost my metabolism and I can work out longer and sweat more. When I take the multivitamins, I know that my body is getting the right nutrient it need to see the physical changes I want to see. Before taking the Digest Ultra, I did not digest normally and always feel very constipated. I definitely have to say I love using these products they are like magic and life changing. I find that this is easier to do then have a meal plan to follow because I tried and I lost three pounds and couldn’t after my body got use to the routine. It was disappointing to know that I couldn’t lose more and then when I was introduced to Yor Health 8 Week challenge I was able to see the results I wanted.
My daily routine consist of when I wake up I take 2 probiotics and 2 repairs with 1 full glass or water on an empty stomach. Then after that I take 2 Super Slim 30 minutes before I have my breakfast. My usual breakfast is a Chocolate or Vanilla Shake, 2 vitamins, and usually a banana or apple. For lunch, I would have 2 super slim 30 minutes before eating lunch. When I eat lunch, I would have chicken salad with a guilt feeling of ranch dressing. Mostly my lunch is consist of grilled chicken and a handful of yellow rice. Along with my lunch I would have a 2 Yor Digest Ultra and 2 vitamins. When it comes to my dinner time, I would have only a chocolate or vanilla protein shake. After I work out, I would have the 2 scoop of Supergreen and fiber because I feel like this combination work best for my body type. At bedtime, I would take 1 probiotics and 2 repairs. I have to say I love the Yor Repair because of my toe injury this summer. This Yor Health routine was was used during my 8 week challenge until each supplements and shake was gone.
My daily workout is only at night due to my busy schedule now after my summer internship and going back to college. I definitely enjoy working out at night before I go to sleep. Ever since I start using the products I feel less bloated and I feel healthier. I just love waking up every morning knowing that I am slowly making a new life style into a lifelong journey. My workout routine consist of a full body work out every night. I also do a 30 minutes of cardio every time I get the chance to. I work out on my arms, legs, and abs because these were my main focus. I do have some rest day, however I always manage to get back on track every time. Whenever, I don’t work out I feel guilty that I am cheating myself out of a wonderful opportunity to work on self-improvement. Knowing this, I motivate myself to work out even at midnight because if I don’t, I feel like I’m missing out on something. It has become like a good addiction to keep working out as my daily life routine. It makes me feel proud that my body is slowly changing toward that dream body I have always dream of.
