Hi, my name is Tammy. I am 37 years old and married with 4 children. This is my first cycle of the 8 week challenge. I started the challenge weighing at 173 pounds and now I weigh in at 153 pounds. I’ve lost 19 pounds. I am so happy to have lost the unwanted weight and, also, so very proud of myself for accomplishing something I’ve struggled with for so many years. The struggle of my weight started after having my first child at the age of fifteen. Another three kids later, I started to let myself go more and more. Not only was I worried about my appearance, but my health was a major factor in me wanting to lose weight. I want to live a long and healthy life for myself and, especially, for my family. After going through so much, I couldn’t imagine not living through to see my kids grow up and see them have kids of their own. I can’t thank my husband and my children enough for constantly supporting me. Knowing how much this meant to me, they always made sure I was following my work out plan and eating healthy. My husband, especially, was a huge drive forward for me in my motivation for being my partner when going to the gym and pushing me to work harder. I’d also like to thank Yor Health for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the challenge. My journey definitely does not stop here, I am looking forward to joining more challenges in the future that’ll push my drive even more in me working towards the body I want.
