After seeing my friend's two sisters achieve fantastic results after completing the YOR Best Body 8 week challenge, I decided to give it a go myself! About seven years ago my dad suffered a heart attack, thankfully he survived and it prompted me to change my lifestyle. I quit smoking and started to make exercise a priority. I lost weight and loved how I felt after exercising.

Over the last 9 months the weight had slowly crept back on. This is partly due to me being a picky eater. I don't eat a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and I'm reluctant to try anything new. Being a busy mother of two and working full time I hadn't realised how much weight I had put on until I hopped on the scales at the start of the challenge. I started weighing 67.7kg and set myself a goal of 60kg. At the end of the challenge I reached 58.8 kg, a total loss of 8.9kg!

For me to succeed in reaching my goal weight I knew I would have to start eating a more healthier diet. With my healthy breakfast I would have a YOR Digest Ultra and my morning snack would be a YOR Super Greens with half a lime. I looked forward to my super greens as its so refreshing and tastes great. I would have another YOR Digest Ultra with either my lunch or afternoon snack. Dinner would typically be meat and steamed greens with another YOR Digest Ultra.

5 times a week I would do a 30 minute exercise DVD and on a Saturday I would do a 45 minute bootcamp. This was my normal routine prior to the challenge.

I am so happy to have completed the YOR Best Body 8 week challenge. Not only did I achieve my goal but I have introduced healthier habits into my lifestyle that I will continue. I am eating healthier and I'm more interested in my health.
