This was my second 8 Week Challenge. I found this challenge a lot more difficult than my first. I felt less prepared mentally for the challenges that came. One thing I struggled with massively was diet. As a result of some personal challenges, I craved high-sugar comfort foods regularly. As a teenager, I struggled with poor body image and would turn to food for comfort, and I found myself slipping back to that. However, with amazing supportive people around me, I was able to get back on track and really focus on WHY I want to achieve my best body. I am still learning so much about myself and realising I can achieve anything I set out to achieve.
My daily product use generally consisted of one supergreen, fibre and berry blast in the morning, digests and vitamins with lunch and dinner, and one probiotic and repair before bed. I also used complete burn for a pre-workout energy boost. Having to be on the road for work one day a week, I found the MRP an easy meal replacement option.
I exercised almost daily. My exercise consisted of twice-weekly group training sessions, body pump weights classes a couple of times a week, 1000 steps, and running for cardio.
While I did not reach my weight loss goal, I did reach my goal of fitting into dress size 8. I feel a lot leaner, fitter and stronger after completing my second 8 Week Challenge! I love that I can be a part of the YOR Best Body community and the support from other people doing the challenge is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend that anyone and everyone get involved in the challenge to start setting some goals for themselves.
Having a challenge to train for definitely helped to make exercise a daily habit and I could not imagine stopping now! All I need to work on now is my nutrition, but at least with YOR Health products I am well on my way!
