“You will never lose weight.” It struck to me that the only reason why people around me say that to me was because every time I attempted to lose weight in the past, I failed. I have tried countless diet routines. I first started by trying to starve myself, which was completely unhealthy for my body and I also found out that I started to eat more than I usually did. I have also tried diet pills off the counter that I found at Wal-Mart. The last diet pill that I took was called 100% Pure Raspberry Ketone by Nature’s Science. It came in a pack of two with 50 capsules in each. I followed as directed and finished my first bottle. I stopped after realizing that it had taken NO effect whatsoever. Prior to that, I’ve heard of many celebrities who claimed that the famous Cambogia Garcinia product actually works, especially when I read an article that I found on a Facebook ad about Kim Kardashian. Many more celebrities claimed that Cambogia Garcinia have taken charge of their lives and changed it. I knew that I needed to try this. In the end I realized that I had wasted my money and energy on something that was not effective. Last, but not least, I also tried the famous and well known body wraps from It Works. I knew that this wasn’t it.
I had lost hope after trying so many ways to try to achieve my dream body and thought that maybe I will never be able to get the body that I have always wanted. But then I came across Maiyeng Moua’s picture that she posted on Facebook in the Hmong Fitness & Motivation page. About a week into my new diet plan, my system felt so much cleaner. Before I got to try any Yor Health products, I get constipated regularly. I would go to the bathroom about once a week sometimes if I get lucky, two. I used to buy laxatives from Walgreens or Wal-Mart to help flush away the waste that my body has been storing for so long. I hated my body for being that way. Sometimes, the pain would be so painful that it would wake me up in the middle of the night. In just one month, I lost 10 pounds! It was unbelievable. 10 pounds may not seem like a lot, but it is for me because it’s an accomplishment. I was 128, now 118. My goal was go to the gym at least five days a week. It was accomplished. I was sore but loved the feeling. The gym that I went to was a gym at my two-year college, University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley. I would start off by stretching to avoid any cramps during my workout. Then I would go for a run on a treadmill on a range of 4.5-5.5 mph. My goal was to reach two miles in less than 30 minutes and of course, I did it. I keep myself busy by listening to energetic songs. My favorite is the song called Talking Body by Tove Lo. It’s not the lyrics that makes me energetic, it’s the energy in the music. After two miles, I work on either my upper body or legs. Most of the time, I would rotate. For example, one day would be upper body day and the next day would be leg day and it continues. I gained two pounds so now I am at 120 Ib but I know that it was just muscle gain. I began to receive compliments from work and friends. People would now tell me I look slimmer, my butt looks more lifted, my face looks slimmer, and more. “I can’t believe this,” was the first thing I said when I found myself looking in the mirror to finally realize that my body actually looks a little slimmer. Usually, whenever I sit down, I can feel the roll of fat just by pinching it. But now, it’s a little harder to grasp and that’s when I knew that I’m getting closer.
If you are wondering, how did I do it? I used all the products that was in the promoter kit. The shakes, digest ultra, supergreens, probiotics, repair ultra, super slim, berry blast, and fiber. I followed the regimen that my coach gave me every day and ate only small portions of food. For my culture, rice is what we grew up with but I knew that I had to stay away from it because it’s fattening. No doubt, I was able to stay away from rice! People will tell me that I’m fine just the same I am. But am I okay with my own body? Have they ever asked me that? No. It’s time I take action and I finally did. I’m starting to feel more confident now, I can wear clothes and look at my body and be shocked that my waste is smaller. There’s so much more to improve and I can’t wait to see what Yor Health holds for me.
