So this is my 3rd complete challenge that I have finished and every time I start it with the goal of being a better person by the end of the 8 weeks.

I have always had trouble with yo-yo weight issues and go up with weight just as fast as it comes down. I decided to take the challenge as it keeps me accountable for my health and fitness and also gives me something to work towards.

My body has always held me back both emotionally and in general life as I tend to shy away from going out because of my body. I am learning that the reflection I see in the mirror is not real and that it is distorted by my own bad self-image created over years of reinforcement.

Through the challenge I stuck with the routine of using the YOR Shake (I love the vanilla with a drop of Peppermint Oil), vitamins, digestives with my bigger meals and the repair. Super Greens and Berry Blast were my wake up treat and after taking that I did a 30-40 minute powerwalk.

Doing this challenge over the Festive holidays was definitely another challenge in it's own right, and yes I did indulge in some treats but this time around I was more aware and while I did indulge, it was a small treat to reward me for just how far I have come.

I did a lot of walking over this challenge as I unfortunately injured my ankle early on but it was good finding ways how to still keep exercising while working around an injury.

I would recommend the challenge to anyone who struggles with body image, weight or other similar problems as it's a great way to be accountable and have a goal to achieve.

Even though I didn't wake up today on the final day of my 8 week challenge with the exact body I want, I know that from my before photo to know I'm not the same person and have made changes that will make getting the body I want that much easier.
